Concert 1965 in Knoxville, Tn. Bob Dylan has been at every family celebration since then and today is my husband’s birthday. John died 8 years ago but Bob still sings for us. thank you Bob

My Dad died in 08. On the way to his funeral, I heard this song in three different versions. Guns and Roses Eric Clapton And this one. I sure miss the old Man. 😕 RIP Dad. See you soon.

I'm 77 now and I will miss Tom Petty for the rest of my life however long it may be. I never tire of his songs or hearing him sing. He was truly one of a kind and I miss him.

This song was playing on a movie my husband an I were watching, so I started singing the song, he said how do you know this song? I said don’t you remember it was a big hit when we were in high school he says , no i sure don’t remember that song at all. I say bob dylan and Tom petty he was like oh yeah, it’s been a long time I said yeah way over 40 some odd years ago. 😂! Still love that man❤over 40 years and counting.

Of the many, many times I've seen Dylan this was always my favorite tour. The Heartbreaker were SUCH road dogs at this time and really in tune with Bob and the set lists. Nimble and jangly, harmonizing and swinging. Tough! Hell, even Bobby was wearing sleeveless leather vests! When I was younger I wished I had seen all the great concerts I missed that came before my time and now, of course, I realize I saw the very best at their very best. Rock on yall.🤘😎🤘

There is a double live CD available of this tour. Naturally this classic is on it. Petty and co. do some of their own songs including the BEST EVER version of “refugee” and a great rockin’ version of “Johnny B Goode”. These three songs alone make buying the CDs worth it.

I was near the front at this 86 Melbourne concert and remember the sounds movement and gestures clearly. Pre concert Bob said it would be his best ever concert. A high point in my life and it was so loud my ears were ringing

I'm sold on this performance. I love the album version but this one is outrages good in my opinion. The whole mix of Dylan, Petty and The Heartbreakers and the backup singers is from another galaxy.
