Check out the "Explorer" lessons | example: the C shape explorer lesson give you a bunch of "ornaments" to spice up your good old open C. Great ones so many do it so many different ways Those little tiny embellishments though definitely are what make it shine and keep it interesting otherwise it just kind of gets boring to me. And it's not really that much adding a finger here and there
