Der Perfection Loop macht seinem Namen alle Ehre! Denn bei diesem einfachen Knoten handelt es sich in der Tat um den perfekten Schlaufenknoten. Er trägt minimal auf, besitzt eine hohe Tragkraft und kann mit diversen Materialien gebunden werden (Flurorocarbon, Nylon, knotbares Stahl oder Titanium etc.). Einer der größten Vorteile des Perfection Loops ist, dass die entstehende Schlaufe in einer Linie zur Hauptschnur liegt. Viele andere Schlaufenknoten (z.B. der Chirurgenknoten) stehen hingegen leicht seitlich von der Hauptschnur ab. Unabhängig vom Material und vom Materialdurchmesser wird der Perfection Loop immer gleich geknotet und besteht im Grund aus zwei Überhandschlaufen, wobei die zweite abschließend durch die erste gezogen wird. Der dabei entstehende Perfection Loop kann sehr klein geknotet werden und eignet sich deshalb auch für filigrane Montagen - wird aber auch beim Raubfischangeln oder sogar beim Tropenfischen eingesetzt.
Wir Fliegenfischer nutzen den Perfection Loop vorallem für drei Zwecke.
1. Um das Vorfach mit der Flugschnur zu verbinden.
2. Um einen Streamer, eine große Nymphe, eine Meerforellenfliege oder Lachsfliege anzuknoten.
3. Um einen Pitzenbauerring zu ersetzen.

The Perfection Loop lives up to its name! Because this simple knot is in fact the perfect loop knot. It has a minimum of bulk, is very strong and can be tied with various materials (fluorocarbon, nylon, knotable steel or titanium etc.). One of the biggest advantages of the Perfection Loop is that the resulting loop is in line with the main line. Many other loop knots (e.g. the Surgeon's knot), on the other hand, stand slightly off to the side of the main line. Regardless of the material and the diameter of the material, the Perfection Loop is always knotted in the same way and basically consists of two overhand loops, whereby the second is finally pulled through the first. The resulting Perfection Loop can be knotted very small and is therefore also suitable for filigree setups - but is also used for predatory fishing or even for tropical fishing.
We fly fishers use the Albright knot mainly for three purposes.
1. To connect the leader with the flying line.
2. To knot a streamer, a large nymph, a sea trout fly or salmon fly to your leader.
3. To replace a Pitzenbauer ring (tippet ring).
