Brands review; Lennox, Trane, Carrier, Tempstar, Daikin, Rheem, and York. All of them are 3 ton air conditioners and all of them are popular AC systems here in South Florida.Out of all brands, Lennox came up on the top and scored the best, 290 points. Trane scored 220 points, Carrier scored 180 points. Tempstar, Daikin and Rheem, head to head scored 170 points.York scored the lowest, 160 points as it didn't qualify for the extra 10 points for reliability

I have a 15 year old Rheem classic 90 heating unit and a 14AJL48A01 ac unit. I have clean both every 3 months basic maintenance and only 1 service call to replace the 75 gallon hot water heater. The system has been flawless and I love Carrier but have nothing bad to say about Rheem.

any major brand Rheem/Ruud, Carrier/Bryant, Trane/American Standard, Daikin/Goodman/Amana. Make sure your warranty is registered after install

I have a 3 year old Ruud. I have already replaced the evaporator coil and condenser fan motor. Total junk they are not built like the old ones. Don't waste your money.

I have 2 Rheem, 3 year old 3 ton units. Both running flawless. Zero issues since install and Ice cold upstairs bedrooms on the hottest NY days

Many of them are having problems. Google problems with each brand. Just try to pick one. I don't feel good about any of them at this time. It is a bunch of money to spend for such poor quality.

Rheem & Ruud are not what they used to be.. They are loud on the start .. just saying.. The whole video shows - LENNOX is 1st.. Trane 2nd. & Carrier 3rd

GARBAGE. 3 service calls in the first 4 months of installing and house is right now at 82°. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRASH.

The Federal Government is mandating Jan 2025. Everything is getting delayed when it comes to R454b and R32

@GWAC555 Appreciate the answer. Hopefully folks will know how to adjust the system properly for the new refrigerant. I suppose new gauges will be needed?

@GWAC555 is there a video describing what differences might exist when tuning the system vs R410a, for instance?
