FYI po, naka factor in na sa trust fees ang witholding tax ng all UITF products before publish yun daily price. Hindi po ibabawas sa redemption proceeds ni client. Thanks.

Thanks, Gemma. Not for all UITFs though. This was why we qualified it in the blurb on the video. If the trust already paid taxes, then taxes will not be deducted upon redemption. But for others where taxes aren’t paid yet, these will be withheld from the proceeds. Since mutual fund taxation is covered in the tax reform act, all mutual funds are exempt from withholding taxes in behalf of investors.

I prefer Mutual Fund because of the transparency and the investment is under my name plus i have 0% entry fee benefit. 😘
