Unlocking the car - The Creta can be unlocked in two ways. One, press the unlock button on the key. Second, simply press the request sensor on the door while having the key in your pocket, to unlock the car.
Starting the Creta - To start the Creta, make sure the key is in your pocket or inside the vehicle. Depress the clutch and press the stop start button for a couple of seconds to start the car. Press the button again to switch the car off.
Adjusting Drivers Seat - the height of the seat can be adjusted using the lever on the side of the seat by pulling it upwards or pushing it downwards. The lever behind it will adjust eh angle of the seat. Pull the lever under the seat to adjust the reach.
Adjusting Steering Wheel - Move the lever located under the steering downwards. The steering is now free to be adjusted into position. The height of the steering wheel can be adjusted by moving it upwards or downwards. Make sure to lock the position properly by pushing the lever upwards.
Infotainment - The Infotainment system on the Creta can be used for the media and navigation. Press on Media to select the source of your audio, be it : Radio, USB, Bluetooth or AUX. Click on the Navigation tab to use maps.
How to pair Phone via Bluetooth - Make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is switched on and is visible. Click on the Phone tab on the homescreen. Click on settings and add device. Scan for devices and select from the list. Once the phone is paired, click on contacts to view your address book and place a click on the contact and the desired number to place a call.
How to use automatic climate control - Press the Auto button to switch on automatic climate control. The knob on the left can be used to adjust fan speed, while the knob on the right adjusts temperature. The AC can be switched on and off by pressing the AC button on the right knob. Air circulation setting, demisting and modes can be changed using the respective buttons.
Wiper Controls - The lever to operate the wiper is placed behind the steering wheel on the left. Pull the lever towards yourself to spray and wipe the front windscreen. The wipers get three speed settings, intermittent, low and high. The speed for the intermittent wiping can be set using the tab in the centre of the stalk.The rear wiper can be operated by using the tip of the same lever. Push the stalk away from yourself to spray and wipe the rear windscreen.
Headlamp Controls - The lever to operate the headlamps is placed behind the steering wheel on the right. Rotate the outer rotary switch once to switch on the parking lamps and twice for the low beam. Push the lever away from yourself to switch on high beam. Use the inner switch to switch the foglamps on.
Fuel Lid - To open the fuel lid, pull the tab situated on the floor near the driver’s seat and the fuel lid opens.
Opening Bonnet - To open the bonnet on the Creta, pull the lever located on the right hand side above the footwell. Next, pull the lever under the bonnet upwards to open the hood.
Opening Boot - When the car is unlocked, simply press the boot release button on the key. A small button under the chrome strip needs to be pressed to open the boot.
How to access the spare wheel - The spare wheel on the Creta is situated in the boot. To access the spare wheel, remove the floor tray of the boot, unlock the tab used to hold the spare wheel in place and take it out.
Filling Washer Fluid - Water for the windshield sprays can be filled by opening the blue cap located behind the driver side headlight.
Mirror Adjusting - The controls for adjusting the mirros are located on the driver side door pad. First, select the mirror you want to adjust by using the L or R button. Use the button placed behind it to adjust the mirror.
