In this video you will learn the method how to calculate the critical angle of glass using prism.
if we calculate the critical angle of any medium then with the help of critical angle we can calculate the refractive index .
Critical angle is the angle at which angle of refraction is 90 degrees.
Beyond critical angle all the light totally reflected in the medium.

Sir define critical angle when light enter from air to liquid & when light enter from liquid(denser) to air, this is confusing, I read somewhere critical angle is that max angle at which angle of incidence is 90 degree, is it okay?

No! Critical angle is always define in denser medium.. Critical angle is the angle in denser medium when angle of refraction is 90 degrees..

Sense tho Kartha he experiment as there are infinite incident rays which when refracted and traced back give virtual images but when it begins to fade the incident ray is > critical image causing no image formed and that point is noted...
