Fitted and functional, the Knox Urbane Pro Shirt provides riders an added layer of abrasion resistance underneath their motorcycle jacket. Features include high-tenacity stretch nylon and breathable arrow mesh for mobility and breathability, as well as Knox CE Level 1 Microlock protectors on the shoulders and elbows with Knox CE Level 2 back protection. Additionally, riders can add a Knox CE Level 1 chest protector if they are so inclined (sold separately).

Got one about a year ago- Absoultey love it for hot weather. Leather can get so stuffy, and you can add a fair amount of protection to this too

I was using it during this vacation. It is GREAT! I even did slide once, bruised it lightly but there is not even mark.

@@romeokamil yo, not part of marketing I didn't notice those questions because nobody tagged me. Also had to fix 2 holes in shirt, stiches teared one under armpit and one next to the wrist but other than this its fine. I think I will swap armor to something more modern and not so stiff

Why, oh why wouldn’t they include CE level 2 armour in the elbow & shoulders for an expensive protective jacket/under-jacket that’s not only one of their flagship pieces, but they’re are literally a armour specialist company??

After comparing it to the zephyr pro who appears to be more protective , would you think it would be confortable to wear the zephyr pro with an outer layer such as a hoodie ?

It's a bit difficult to comment on comfortability since that varies from person to person, but the Zephyr Pro would offer a bit more coverage for the abrasion zones if that is what you are after in a slide. More abrasion zones does equal more coverage but also a bit more rough textile to be under your hoodie, potentially making it less comfortable to some riders. Hi I’m trying to compare this to the Revit Proteus jacket. Im a bit confused about the CE-levels on the “revit Proteus protector jacket”. The protection for the back, elbow, shoulders are level 2 and the chest level 1. Pretty high standard overall for the protection. But the CE-level overall is “just” at CU (which is the lowest if I understand it correctly?). Is this because of abrasion resistance, tearing of the threading or something else? (If so can a Kevlar shirt make up for that and you still get good protection because of the high level on the shoulder/back/elbow?) I’m looking at this type of protection jacket compared to the “Urbane Pro” which has lower ranked shoulder/elbow/back but a total of A or AA. Thankful if you can help me make sense of this and perhaps guide me to the best purchase.

It's CE Class A-rated as a motorcycle jacket, which is generally suitable for urban riding and lower highway speeds. Most mesh jackets are A-rated but have a bit more abrasion resistance than the Urbane Pro. For a step up to an AA-rating, consider the Knox Zephyr Pro. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/KnoxZephyrPro

@@kongzillagod tagging you here, because I wasn't tagged in other comment and just noticed that I didn't give reply to anyone because youtube notifications are being youtube ;) tl;dr not very fast, maybe 10-15 kmh, I yoinked too hard on gas and leaned too far when turning left on lights I was still learning how to ride and did too hard turn left. I was going from driving school where I was learning how to grind pegs from mt-07 on the ground when you are leaning and doing circles. On way back home I was trying to do same in turns on my small cruiser, problem is I had floorboards, not pegs and it was after rain. I lost grip when turning left and my motocycle went in different direction than I did a bit. Had to swap handlebar, mirror and fix some paint. Jeans with kevlar went to trash. Kevlar was somewhat fine, but jeans part wasn't. Sliders on gloves were made out of leather - also went to trash. Rest of the gear was okay.
