These are some Eminem tracks you should definitely react to and dissect: _ Believe (I can already imagine you dissicting this bar heavy and emotional song at the same time) _ Stan & Bad Guy (on one video, just like Castle & Arose, the last verse in Bad Guy is Top 5 Em verses of all time ♥️) _ Evil Twin (Bar heavyyyyy) _ No Love ft Wayne (Em's verse is crazy and powerful) _ Not Alike (MGK diss and staight bars 🔥)

Killshot was actually a movie from 2008 where the main character is named Colson, and MGK’s real name is Colson Baker. In the movie, Colson is eventually gunned down by a police marshal.

Love Em and always will but this guy seemed to have reacted in a much better way than the others Em has ended. Instead of dying he grew from it / changed genres. He's now attempting to bring back punk rock and it isn't bad if you're into that. He's experimenting with his versatility which is nice to see. It's refreshing to see artists attempt to grow and create in other areas they have interests in, instead of just recycling the same things... not a huge mgk fan but much respect.

Oh, Knox! You rap enthusiast, you! I'm so glad to hear from you again. You always bring the freshest insights to the table, my friend. And honestly, if you ever decide to drop a diss track, I'm pretty sure it would be straight fire! I can already imagine your track, "Knox's Clapback," topping the charts! So, let's talk about the genius producer behind "Rap Devil" and K**** Shot. You know who I'm talking about. It's none other than Ronny Digital. That guy is a wizard with beats! Have you heard the spaceship-like beats he creates? It's like he's telling us, "Buckle up, my friends, because this beat will take you to another planet!" And here's the kicker: he produced both "Rap Devil" and K**** Shot! Crazy, right? Now, as the self-proclaimed 'Sample Fairy' (I love that title, by the way), you pointed out that "K***shot" samples DopeBoyzMuzic's 'DBM SDTII MACHIAVELLI PIANO2 105BPM G-MINOR.' That's some next-level ear for music right there, Knox! Finally, I suggest stacking up two other diss tracks: "F**** Compton" by Tim Dogg and "F*** With Dre Day." I'm already getting chills just thinking about it! If you thought "Rap Devil" had weak diss lines, then this track would be the one to rule them all! Thanks for always bringing your A-game, Knox. You make me laugh and think at the same time!

No one really addresses the "billy goat" line when Em says "I'm the billy goat". That was really clever. Billy goats are satanic representations that Satanists worship. So Em is basically saying MGK is worshipping him. Plus he connected it again in the next lines by calling MGK a Satanist. Also goat as in G.O.A.T. damn Killshot is an onion. So many layers. Edit: That line alone basically addresses Rap Devil as an entire worship song by MGK for Em.

Killshot was obviously the way better diss track, and I get why everyone is taking shots at the song being a funeral for MGK since he changed genres. but in a way couldn’t one argue that it wasn’t really a funeral and that MGK came out on top because he soon released his rock album shortly after Killshot and now he’s like the biggest rock/pop star - essentially using the extra attention from battling em to jumpstart his next stage in life and into becoming an even bigger success. Thus in a way, MGK played Em because he knew em would respond with a kill that would garner attention, which MGK then used to become one of the biggest rock/pop star as a result - even wifing up one of the hottest girls in the world megan fox. So wasn’t really a funeral for MGK, more like he was reborn into an even bigger success. But at the end of the day, both artists won because MGK lit a new fire under Eminem’s belly resulting in kamikaze and em going back to his old self. …And vice versa em bringing more attention and fans to notice MGK who then played it smartly to launch into a new genre of music and subsequently becoming one of the top artists in that genre today.

See, Eminem could have flipped that by taking some of MGKs lines and songs and using them as insults just like MGK did. But he doesn't. What he does is take his OWN lines and songs, and uses THEM to insult MGK. I see it as Em subtlety saying, look at least I have hits you can make disses out of. You're about to really blow KELLY" - Saying that mgk will never be considered one of the greatest rappers of all time and that he will most likely be compared with female artists like Taylor and iggy - Iggy Azalea's real name Has Kelly in it - Her most famous song Fancy, Had the chorus that said " Remember My name I'm about to blooowwwww" This is genius. Eminem literally remembered Her real name and said " You're about to really blow KELLY" while also talking to mgk. My god

The "your beard is weird" line went over almost everybody's head apparently. It was a line MGK stole from an old eminem song, maybe from Slim Shady or MMLP where Em says "until we grow old and our beards are weird" so MGK basically came out of the gate saying Eminem is old and washed up by his own standards and all the Eminem Stans dogged it not even knowing they were dogging their rap god Eminem lmao 😭

Apparently Em wrote Killshot in 13mins, and waited to release it on a specific date so a special line would be like a Easter egg for some people. Killshot is the name of a movie where "Colson" gets shot by a "Marshall", it was one reference that not many people knew apparently. It has so many references and lines that I didn't know till I was watching some reactions again about the disses because of Gnat.

@@demonking2286 lol he only didn't make the beat but that's only because 1 of the producers from kamikaze sent him a unused beat track they didn't use on the album when he heard 'Rap Devil'. MGK was the one who had someone co-write his track lol. Get your facts straight

What was the relevance of the date
@drewfullerlover97
@drewfullerlover97 2 жыл бұрын
@@eddiewalsh8871 so basically I'll explain it, it starts with this bar "Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you’re Swayze". Swayze meaning Patrick Swayze, he was in the popular 1990 movie Ghost, so 'Swayze' means disappear/ghost. Killshot is also the name of a movie where the main character “Colson” gets shot down by an experienced gunner; MGK’s middle name is Colson, and the person who kills Colson is a Marshall/Marshall in Killshot. Eminem wrote killshot very fast but waited till the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's death, (he died September 14th, 2009) to release it to basically tie a bunch of hidden meanings saying MGK was already dead, but he was already gone since before the diss was released basically. Eminem put out hints and such before the song was put out to see who would understand the bars.

great analysis. I agree with MGK and the rap devil diss track, he punched and did great. I think the hook was okay, look at Nas with Ether. He did it and I don't think anyone really complained. I think Em's experience and battle rap background is the difference, at this stage he'd beefed with bigger rappers and was victorious. They should just put it behind them and collaborate lol.

There are so many layers in this diss track. It's insane! Here are a few of my favorites: 1. Eminem released KILLSHOT on September 14th and told MGK he would make him Swayze. 2. Patrick Swayze was in a movie called ‘Ghost’ in which his character is, a ghost. Patrick Swayze died on September 14th. 3. Killshot is a Movie, based on a Hitman who has to kill a man named Colson. MGK's name is Richard Colson Baker. 4. On September 7th, Eminem went live on IG and played Ms. Pac-Man for 7 minutes straight. 5. September 7th is the day that Pac was shot and MGK has a Pac-Man tattoo over his collarbones. (Neck area.) ‘Hit Em Up’ is a diss track by Tupac to Biggie and Diddy. 6. Eminem’s "give Jade-a-kiss" line, followed up with the "game been same just the locks changed" (The Lox, Em's hair color, Jadakiss, Jade is Hailie’s middle name.) 🔥🐐🔥🐐🔥 People who think MGK killed Em and think KILLSHOT wasn't good or hard enough clearly don't understand the bars. They don't take the time to understand the bars, layers, double and triple entendres that Em spits. It's sad that these new cats don't truly understand a 'diss' track. The layers in Em's diss are absolutely insane! He is so incredibly talented and won't dumb his bars down for these lazy mumble rap kids. Not to mention; Em came up in battle rap and he carefully orchestrates his every move/bar. I've heard people say that Em didn't go 'hard' enough. Umm... duh! You can't spit everything you have on someone in the first full diss to anyone. That's why Em says, "What good is a machine gun when it's out of ammo?" MGK threw everything he had at Em on his song and has nothing else he can say. If Em wanted to/needed to diss him again, he has more ammunition. Classic battle tactic. 🔥👏🐐

lol all of that is irrelevant. Em tried far too hard to do edgy nonsense like this rather than making a good diss track, because he had nothing to really counter MGK, who actually made points, rather than saying "I'll kill you", or "you're dead". over and over in different ways and with different analogies like Em did. All flash and no substance. If anything Em's track proves MGK right with him being a Stan, since he clearly forgot how a diss track works. .

@@abbieest4life626 I would say that’s pretty inaccurate in terms of what happened in actual terms. Shortly after Killshot, MGK was literally shattered during the interview to the point he was constantly fumbling over his own words as he tries to inflate his own ego. Additionally, when he released Hotel Diablo, it sold extremely poorly with very few tracks on the album that were barely highlights, marking the end of his career in the rap scene. This also aged very well when Em speaks about giving MGK a career to only be ended soon after he even released Hotel Diablo. MGK wouldn’t have switched genres overall if Em hadn’t even said anything so if anything, Em gave him something no one even knew he had. Additionally, Em has planned this diss all in 13 minutes worth of writing and waiting for the right day to finish what was started. If you thought MGK had planned to expect a response, it was completely blown out of the water with the amount of details, line by line and the impact those lines bring when you start making the connections. Eminem did more than bury MGK, he gave him a whole reset
