Pretty much every other reactors I've watched (that aren't these bait fake over the top reactions to be entertaining) actually pointed out that it was a really bad argument, that the molesting thing was a bad idea and not even what Mother I Sober was about, and also that the whole track, Drake is on the defense, not really dissing. The "fake leak" thing backfired for me. Firstly Drake has put the rumour out there and now it's there. Not everyone is gonna hear the follow up that it was fake so he's kinda played himself there. Secondly, all it proves is that Kendrick genuinely does have people close to Drake who are willing to turn on him. That's a huge L in my book. With the Mother I piece. Totally missed the point of the original song and even if he is trying to suggest that Kendrick was lying you can't get much lower and scummier than going after someone for being the Victim of SA. That's crazy. The whole record is just one big miss and I think what we're seeing here is Drake actually writing himself. No ghost writers to come up with quality material like the previous tracks.

So his plan was to let Kendrick take all the steam away from family matters, let Kendrick drop the scariest diss track with Meet the Grahams, then not say anything to that, not call BS then when he immediately caught him, and let Kendrick drop Not Like Us let that go crazy and wait to announce that he set up this whole thing a day later and basically waive the white flag and walk away. Sounds like damage control.

Knox Hill has gained so much of my respect with this video. Every other reactor like Scru, Shaq they all fall for recency bias. I have a lot of respect for the way you responded when hearing Drake say he’s ~too famous~ to get away with (“alleged”) pedophilia (and for pointing out the victim blaming angle for what it is). Like, what the fuck man, what a deeply messed up thing to say in your own defence. I think more than anything, it’s actually those lines that made me feel deep disgust towards Drake. Nothing about the allegations are proven (in terms of actual SA/CSA, but he did knowingly kiss a girl who was underage and had very very sketchy interactions with other underage girls. You don’t actually have to have sex with a minor to be a groomer or to have inappropriate interactions with minors, just saying) but now that I know what Drake thinks is a valid defence of himself and, by extension, ALL ~sufficiently famous~ people (despite all the names you mentioned and more), that’s what really did it for me.

I loved you for your ren stuff months back and you were the only reactor i wanted to see talk about this. My bf and i got into a long talk after i finally got drawn into this drama. He was saying "drake definitely clapped back on the pedo charges" and i listened to this song and was completely taken aback at how BAD it was. Like "I'm too famous" as a defense???? As someone whos worked with victims, he sounds like the ultimate narcissist and gaslighter on this track.
