Koleda is a minor. One of her trust events is how she heard about a very "mature" movie at the construction site and the MC tells Koleda thats its the kind of movie to watch when she is older. Koleda doesnt get why she cant watch it, insists on seeing it and MC replies panicking "A-actually, its out of stock right now". You can also find that movie in the tape list at the counter and it not only calls it a "romantic" movie but how its about a beautiful woman who lost her memories going into a strange city and how it features very bold scenes. Her side story implies as well that she is probably like 13-16 or so cause she has to infiltrate a grade school for a commission and the kids go on how she is taller than 11 year olds. Do the math. She cant watch adult movies and Belle/Wise panics when she insisted she wants to see the movie while the grade school kids basically go on that she is taller than 11 year old kids.

Fun Facts: Ellen is still in high school, and Lucy and Piper can legally drive. The minimum driving age in China is 18, and Mihoyo is known to adhere to real life regulations in regards to what they allow characters to do (drinking for example). In addition to that, Zhu Yuan refers to Qingyi as her senior. There is at minimum a 50% chance that Ellen is a minor assuming she's in her last year of school, meanwhile Lucy, Piper, and Qingyi are almost positively certain to be small adults. The point here is that you shouldn't judge a characters age by their appearance but by their lore, and I know right now someone will comment something along the lines of "That's just an excuse, the devs clearly made them intentionally childlike!" or some such, and that may be true to a degree but I ask you to remember that naturally short and petite women do exist especially in Asian cultures of which the game is a product of, and this bleeds into their character design. Characters aren't people, they never will be, so what's the point of trying to apply real world values on to them? The whole idea is completely nonsensical and somewhat concerning, as it implies you can't tell the difference between fiction and reality, which is a very dangerous and messed up mindset to have Also, I am going to argue that short adults that look like children exist, because they do, and they're a lot more common than you think, I know this because I personally know someone like that, I have a friend who I met in freshman year of high school all the way back in 2016, and back then we'd always joke around about how she did not look her age at all and could easily pass off as a middle schooler, I'd even jokingly refer to her as a "real life loli", and to this day we're still friends and she still looks exactly the same as when I first met her, people like that do exist and it's not some bizarre or rare phenomenon, literally happens all the time

@@slavchems4759 but Koleda's character bio description in the work bench implies she is an adult, or close to an adult, bare minimum probably like 17 or 18, but I also don't know anything about the timeline yet, I only just finished chapter 2, but from the information I have been given, I'm pretty sure it's been quite a bit longer than only 5 years since the fall of the old capital, most likely closer to 10 years, but again, I'm still working my way through the main story, so I may be missing some details Oh and in response to your reply in the the other comment section, I'm pretty sure Corin is the youngest character in the game currently, not Ellen or Koleda

@@Testsubject276 not even. anyone born between January and May will be 18 during their last semester of highschool, that's why there's a push to immediately enter college once you graduate. at the end of the day though, it doesn't matter, it's a drawing. hoyo will never give ages to them because they want to avoid this exact conversation to begin with. if it bothers anyone, you can always look at the voice actress's ages to feel better since their voices are 50% of what brings the characters to life. and most voice actresses are between 23 and 35.
