I met Knut in 1985 while touring Norway with Rock Bottom. He was amazing then and still amazing now.

Around Christmas 1983, Knut and Kristin Berglund was on a mini tour of Norwegian military stations, sponsored by Rikskonsertene (i think ...). They played for us almost as far north as you can come on the Norwegian mainland, and I still remember the concert as if it was yesterday. His spirit and immense musical talent was obvious even then. He now has a program called "BluesAsylet" on NRK, where he plays delta blues and other styles within the blues family. The man is a true force of nature ...what a wonderful video of a great musician :o)

@@attepotterrmmefiremerkersm68 Rock Botton & the Cuttaways was a blues band from FLA and we traveled all over Norway in little Volvo cars playing bars along the way when we met Knut and he sat in with us and blew us away with his musical skills. He also did a few acoustic numbers solo at one place and showed us that side of his ever evolving musical style. He met up with us in the US and tagged along with Rock Bottom playing electric guitar as if he where from Chicago. The highlight of that tour was playing at Jackson's Station in Hodges SC - a very diverse club in a remote area with wood burning stoves for heat, bizarre pictures on the wall, and the building was a train station from 1862 with tin roof. He tore it up! Check out some of the clips he's done with Vidar Busk - another smoking guitarist from Norway.
