Beautiful movie , Beautiful script , Super Star Cast , Meliferous Music esp Karthik part was exactly placed btwn the 2 parts , Mohan sir matured calm subtle acting , Revathi's sharp tongue , excellent emotions .We can see this neat movie hw many ever times we wish..Such a beautiful movie by Manirathnam. No movie has come after years like this

I’m a Malayalee and in 80 s we don’t get much opportunity to c Tamil movies like now .. I remember watching this movie after we have got Asianet connection … now again watching … never get bored ❤ Mohan , Karthik Revathi just awesome The looks and patience of Mohan superb… Now only I’m seeing many movies of Mohan … How many movies and mostly all the heroines …superb Mohan sir Hats off to Maniratnam sir for giving such a beautiful evergreen movie SPB n Ilayaraja sir no words 🙏🙏🙏

What an audacity to talk like this to her dad- when dowry was a big thing and her dad had 2 more girls to get married and she got a very good groom, what is wrong to get married to him? If she chose Karthik if he lived, her life would have been really really bad.

@@Krishvasu09It is not her fault she was born! Her parents should have known when he would retire and how much he could financially do for his kids and planned to have only that many kids. But instead what most Indian parents do is to act irresponsibly by having more kids than they can comfortably support and then emotionally blackmail/ guilt the kids into doing things.

@@krishnashankar2595 Mohan maybe decent but he did not care about Revathy's feelings. He liked her and married her although she clearly told him she wasn't interested. In this movie, Mohan's character is a regular Indian guy who is self-centered, thinks the world revolves around him and lacks empathy for his spouse.
