Yeah, the people that told you you don’t have to pay attention to lyrics until her 2 latest albums are simply wrong because it doesn’t matter what genre Taylor’s doing….she’s gonna hit you with some crazy good lyrics. So moral of the story ALWAYS listen to the lyrics.

No you need to listen to the lyrics on every album. Taylor is a genius songwriter and storyteller. That person doesn't know what they are talking about.

THATS WHAT IM SAYING!! They think that since 1989 is mainly pop songs that you don’t have to listen to what she’s saying and I think they forgot the type of songwriter Taylor really is😭

she's known for her lyrics in every album folklore & evermore are just more complex lyric wise with more metaphors & a bigger vocabulary!

While yes Taylor has always been a great songwriter and you should always listen to her lyrics, I think it's more important to listen to the album first because it's very common for her to change the arrangement when she performs a song. It's better to hear how she originally put it out before listening to how she's changed it for performances. That being said, I'm not complaining! I love that you're reacting to both tours and I watch them with a lot of excitement every time!

Fun facts about the runway: The builder calls it the "Propeller Runway," it is 100 feet long, can raise to 16 feet in the air, drive out closer to the center of the stadium, and can spin 360º which you will see in coming performances on this tour!
