Kobe Bean Bryant, The Black Mamba. Kobe grew up in front of the world and left a mark on many people, from many walks of life. This original documentary examines the entirety of Kobe Bryant's playing career. Drafted out of high school, the youngest to ever play in the NBA, won the slam dunk competition, the lakers dynasty, the combo, Shaq and the feud, three in a row, the dunks, the defense, the MAMBA mentality, the rise with Gasol, the return to glory, overcoming the odds, injuries, being tougher, stronger, more dedicated than his peers, his historic farewell game, and his tragic end...this original documentary examines it all. Relive all of Kobe Bryant's career.

Hope you enjoy, Kobe is one of the athletes I connected most with as a kid. He grew up in front of our eyes, and so making this newer version was a must for me. This (like the MJ doc I released last month) is a new version of one of my older, most successful videos. It uses some clips from the previous one, but is mostly new, new sounds, new music, new commentary ( I didn't even do VO on the previous one), and more. Thanks for watching!

I was at that game when Kobe dunked on Steve Nash. I grew up in Phoenix and still live here. My brother and I have had season tickets since 2005 and we have been to a lot of games. It was always the Lakers and the Spurs that always beat us in the playoffs. It was always “BEAT LA” or “Beat the Spurs”. During the mid 2000’s it was either the Lakers and the Spurs who ended up winning the championship. I was also at 2 of the 1993 NBA finals when the Bulls beat us and I got to see MJ play live. Those were incredible games and it’s a great memory that I will never forget. I lived in LA from 1997-2005 and I got to see the Lakers 3-Peat and went to a few of those finals as well. MJ and Kobe are my GOATS. MJ will always be my number one but Kobe is right behind him. We all miss Kobe and he will never be forgotten. RIP TO ALL THAT DIED THAT TRAGIC DAY IN CALABASAS.

AGREED. Dare to be great. I volunteered to go fight in Iraq with the Texas Guard on 4 deployments ( I did 2 tours back-to-back )my first tour was with an infantry unit in late 2004-to-all of 2005. Came back to america from Iraq Dec-24-2005,then had a set of orders to report back to Ft Hood,Tx ( my first train-up was also at Ft Hood,Tx July-13-2004 ) Feb-6-2006 for a 5 month train-up with a Texas Guard unit outta San Antonio,Tx to do convoy escort. After completing those 2 tours to Iraq I went back to my civilian job ( I had been gone from my civilian job for 2 yrs and 8 months fighting in Iraq )then I worked at my civilian job for a whole yr,then deployed back to Iraq again for a yr.Then back to civilian job for a yr,then back to Iraq for my 4 th and final tour there. LOL. I stopped deploying to Iraq because the US government went-SOFT-on fighting insurgents/terrorists,talking about when their hearts and minds. HUH ??? You can't play TICKLE me Elmo with insurgents, that'll get you and your soldiers killed-EASILY.

This is exactly what we needed. I saw a video about Kobe the other week maybe 12-20 minutes in length and it wasn't enough. Great documentary. Long Live Kobe Bryant

Joe Vincent, you make the best most awesome documentaries on the medium. Your delivery and the vibe of your content, the gravitas, the culture appropriate jokes and puns u masterfully slip in ur works, peerless. Enough said. This video was a LONG time coming..

You should make a a longer version of the Deion sanders video cause it’s literally not even ten minutes and he deserves a full on documentary cause of how skilled of an athlete he was
