Kobe was in a class by himself, he lived and breathe basketball and done all he could to be the best he could be and for that he's one of the all time greats in it. So clutch, so focused, so competitive and a warrior to make himself the Mamba we know and respect. Sucks that he's gone but his legacy will always be here to stay.

Kobe‘s greatness can‘t be described solely on the basis of accolades or stats. He has all time great stats and many accolades, but his true value is far more than that. The way he played, the many different ways in which he could score, always giving the absolute best on both ends on the floor, his learning curve, curiosity, attention to detail, being able to mature as a leader in his later years, can‘t be stated enough! Also his mamba mentality is real, because many of us including myself are inspired to this day by him and we will always be inspired by him. Kobe learned from the greatest, absorbed many information and successfully implemented in his own game and shared his wisdom as one of the greatest players ever with the world. Not only necessarily related just to basketball, but also in regard to other fields or life in general. R.I.P. Kobe, Gigi and all the other passengers 💜💛🙏🏼🕊

Kobe Bryant's greatest attributes were his unmatched tireless work ethic, his unparalled thirst to constantly update his database. He was constantly adding new elements to his game which allowed him to suceed in different eras. He never made excuses when he lost, and took accountability. He also possessed an extremely high pain threshold and played through numerous injuries. On the court Kobe was ELITE offensively with no flaws in his offensive arsenal which made him an opposing teams nightmare to game plan against; and he was ELITE defensively and willing defended the opposing teams best player even at the age of 34 when he would defend ELITE point guards like Russell Westbrook in their prime and a young Kyrie Irving. On the 2008 Olympic team it was Kobe who defended the opposing countries best player 94 feet and his defensive prescence and vocal leadership permeated throughout the team. He made 12 All Defensive Teams with 9 of them First team All Defense an award that was voted on by NBA head coaches who were restricted from picking players from their own team prior to the 2013-2014 season when the media took over the voting process. And Finally, he was a multi-time NBA CHAMPION who was respected by his peers and opposing head coaches and influenced an entire generation of NBA players such as Giannis, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Kyrie Irving, Zach Lavine, Demar Derozan, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard. Kobe Bryant is an NBA legend immortalized. R.I.P. to the Late Great Kobe Bean Bryant.

This type of competitor, the Kobe type, is why I love the things I love the way I do. He is my hero and always has been and always will be. I loved watching Kobe play on TV for my whole childhood. I don't think people even knew half of how much effort he put into the game.
