Wilt onlyn played half of his career in LA, and Kareem woudn't have won without the man who said Kobe surpassed hum and Jerry West drafted Kobe because "of his potential to become the Greatest Laker ever." I rest my case.

I'm sorry this may come off as disrespectful but I really have a hard time choosing between Kobe and MJ. If you really think about it Kobe can do everything MJ can do and some things even better. Now in a one on one of course I'd take MJ bc of his lockdown defense but man Kobe sure would make him run for his money. Kobe has done just as much in basketball as MJ has besides win hat 6th ring. If I had the power I'd make Kobe good again and have him traded to the Cavs so he could win that ring. Michael Jordan and Kobe are the greatest two players of all time. people just need to start acknowledging Kobe. The man dropped 81 points in a single game. That's the second most in NBA history. He has the record for 3s in a game,the third most points ever,he scored 63 in 3 quaters,he went on a 9 game 40 pt streak,he went on a 4 game tear of 65,50,60,and 65,he has so many game winners,and if u watched this video u saw he lacks no skill offensively.
@RoyaltyGotHits8 жыл бұрын
***** I think most big men are overrared because you have to take in account all around player. There is nothing Kobe couldn't do on he court. Bill Russel can't make a jumpshot for the life of him. Bill Russel isn't very good offensively he's awful if we're talking about top 2 players of all time standards. Bill Russel can't defend the perimeter at all. But Kobe can defend the post,he'd get outmatched because of size but defending a guard or SF in the post,yea Kobe can easily do that. You get what I'm saying now? Kobe can do everything exceptionally well. Bill Russel does some things exceptionally well and some he can't do period.
@johnrodriquez19338 жыл бұрын
+Benjie Lim Problem is...Bill didnt single handedly take games over, have the team come back, AND STILL win the game with a well contested shot AT THE BUZZER. there are Hall Of Famers and then there are Legends. Kobe is a Legend. Bill Russell is Hall of Fame.
@johnrodriquez19338 жыл бұрын
+Benjie Lim you're sick! Kobe always brought the energy and rythym to all of his team mates! Are you insane?? His pass/assist game was as good as some of the best to ever do it. Yeah he had his ball hog moments but he backed it up. There is nothing he lacked..? Yes, Kobe is a Legend. And dont even mention Wilt chamberlain thats a whole different era and different style of game.

We have the 4 legendary eras the 80s magic Johnson era 90s Michael Jordan era the 2000s the Kobe Bryant era and now it's Lebrons Era out of all these I think kobe offensively had the greatest era Michael had the best overall era Magic had the sweetest and most entertaining "show time" era and now we have lebron which still might not OWN the era because KD is only getting better

i aint hating lebron, i aint even a kobe's fan. but just see the way kobe and lebron play u can tell who is the better player. kobe plays not only with physical strength but also with a high basketball IQ. haters 'gon hate but lebron's games are almost 100% physical
@MojoBonzo10 жыл бұрын
you are totally wrong... i DONT say that one has higher iq than another, im not an iq test, but you got to give lebron some credit... if he was only physical, he would be an average PF... the guy can play from pg-pf and even a C in some occasions, in the fucking NBA... also it takes some serious IQ to read the game, to know when to pass and where.. lebron has that... the difference is that kobe had "elasticity"(i dont know if its the right word, sry im greek), which made his moves look really smooth... its unfair to ask that from lebron... whats next?! to ask him to do the iverson crossovers?! he was born a beast, so he is going to play like one...its like asking from griffin to do nowitzki's moves... he wasnt born with the physical ability to do that...
@ashinzero110610 жыл бұрын
that's a good point too bro. but imo, it is true that basketball requires both strength and flexiblity, as well as the intelligence to read the game. u can go thru the footage of kobe and lebron and u'll see what im talkin bout. as u said b4, lebron is a beast. yes it is true i dont deny it. the fact that because he is a beast (literally), he makes it look easy when ripping the defence apart. his game mostly rely on his physical strength. most of his passes happen when he has no where to go, or in a situation that passing the ball is the only option he has left. kobe, on the other hand, he has the ability to shoot, drive, rebound, pass... (lebron too). but the lakers these years are way too weak that he has to do almost everything. none of the lakers can shoot like him, it's easy to understand why he is a ball hog. talkin bout passing the ball. u can see that most of the time he still could make the shot. but he chose to pass. why? because his teammates are in better positions to score.

Y u all hate Kobe? Just because he dominates your favorite team you all will cry?? Just because Lebron got blocked by Kobe you'll hate Kobe? Making a reason that Kobe is paying refs to not get traveled and foul. Please basketball fans why you all watch basketball if dont know real travel or a pivot. Lebron go to free throws even without contact foul and traveled like the refs dont see anything. And flops like a crybaby Flops are for those who are scared to lose its obvious. Now why hate Kobe?? Now give me a reason why he is bad and ill correct your shitty reason

I just wanna say that this was a great video and to those that say it's too slow or there's not enough highlights or whatever. This isn't a highlight video even though that's what it's been named. This is a very well done tribute to one of the Greatest Players of All Time. A player that it pains me to see play and compete, risking his health for a 4th season for really no reason anymore. So job well done Mr. Young
@WashedCoachWith3Chips9 жыл бұрын
LBJ is fantastic but if I were to choose either James or Kobe in their primes to lead my franchise, I'd take Kobe 10/10. Like I saw on here. The dude is a winner, has a killer instinct and is willing to do anything to win a game and how many times has James failed to hit the big shot? How many times has James wanted someone else to take the shot? Not shitting on Lebron by any means I'm just saying if you wanna compare the 2 in their prime, Kobe is the man. We'll never see another Michael Jordan and how many times have we heard throughout the years "the next Michael Jordan"? If there was one player to compare to sir air-ness it would be Kobe Bryant.
@vanessananat39539 жыл бұрын
I agree
@jayska239 жыл бұрын
This is LeBron were talking about failed to hit the shot let's not act like Jordan or Kobe hit every single clutch shot in their career but LeBron hit the game winner vs the Bulls this year but simple as can be LeBron has already done more than Kobe in his career and he's only 30 LeBron's gonna have a dynasty with the cavs it's their 1st year together and they almost won it without 2 all stars
@user-td4gi3ho3h9 жыл бұрын
terrorofsesameST Lebron's clutch numbers are significantly better than Kobe's AND his teams do better in close games, but because of highlight videos like this people think Kobe is some late-game wizard. His legacy is built on playing with dominant centers and chucking as much as possible until he got his points.
@b97519 жыл бұрын
Alex Henrie his clutch numbers are better because he has so little clutch moments, kobe has been turned too to take the shot almost every time for his team in clutch situations.
@jessebarone57128 жыл бұрын
Alex Henrie One of the first thing you do when looking at stats is the sample size. Lebrons sample size of clutch moments is so much smaller than Kobe's because he doesn't have the balls to take those shots as consistently. Hence why Lebron fans want so badly to believe that Lebron is better in the clutch than Kobe. But anyone with eyes that has seen the two play would say Kobe with no hesitation.

The only reason Kobe doesn't have 3-4 MVP awards is because of the sex scandal. The league didn't want to be represented by someone involved in that type of situation. But I think Kobe was the best player from about 04 to 09 and should have won...maybe even the best in 2010, but that is debatable

Look the Fact is A.I. has had 3 seasons averaging 33+ ppg Kobe only as 2 and Lebron Durant and Melo have never done it not even once. In these 3 seasons A.I. also got 6.1,7.4 and 6.7 assists with almost 3 steals he could not be guarded by anyone, Jordan one of the best perimeter defenders to ever live got caught going the other way, he even Crossed Tony Allen (which no body else could do) and the fact that he was 6ft with a relatively slow 40 time and all he had Handles and quickness plus he played on a team with no other threats to score so he was always doubled and he still shot a high percentage....are you serious. If he is Westbrook in OKC with all that talent so they couldn't double him he probably would breach 40ppg
@SilentDeathByNINJA10 жыл бұрын
As for Shaq he played Against what is probably the best era of big Man, Olajuwon, Robinson, Ewing, Malone, Kemp, Mutombo, Barkley. , Garnett, Wallace, Ducan. All in there prime during his career (Keep in mind that big Ben Wallace is one of the best post defenders ever in his prime) and Shaq Still Dominated he wasn't a freak athlete like Howard of today of Olajuwon and Kemp and Robinson where he destroyed them was a hook shot and more mature unstoppable post moves that hadn't ever been seen accomplished so. If he hadn't had those last 4 years of almost no production his career numbers would be 29 ppg (Dwight hasn't done that in a season)Record for any center except Wilt...who was an atheletic big man playing against uncoordinated fucks he was only okay against Russell and Kareem without playing in the Era he did I don't know if he would be in the HOF 13 boards(only the worm is better) and 3 blocks (only Mutumbo higher) he is by far the best big man to ever live Next is Olajuwon then either Kareem, Duncan or Malone could not tell you

You guys act like Jordan didnt have help. Kobe had Shaq and MJ had Pippen. Kobe will probably never have a 6th ring but he will retire ahead of MJ statistically. Talk now but mark my words.
@_Trey-39 жыл бұрын
tj roldan yo dude you want me to prove kobe dosnt need shaq to win kobe went to 3 finals without shaq and won 2 shaq had 1 final and 1 win without kobe enough said pipen wouldn't be pippen without jordan shaq would be shaq but kobe and mj best players alive right now enough said

@ParaditeRs9 жыл бұрын
Tyrone kilete Kobe, if for nothing else, is better than Lebron simply because he didn't throw his teammates under the buss the moment things stopped going well.
@zacharyrahaman68489 жыл бұрын
Kobe actually did throw his teammates under the bus a number a times: for example:shaq

Going to miss him, kg, and duncan when theybhang em up. Sucks the league is going to be solely in bron's bia hands for a while. He is the most despicable poster child the nba has ever had

I really enjoyed this until 4:33...come on, James is clearly better than Kobe, i can tell you why if you respond to my comment. But otherwise, great video.
@evodriver63259 жыл бұрын
Youf right LeBron is better than kobe.... but kobe Bryant is no longer in his prime .... prime vs prime LeBron falls miles behind ... kobe had the killer instinct and would noy go down without a fight as for LeBron well you know he tends do disappear in big games
@nikolajgrunig79939 жыл бұрын
Evodriver Total media bs. Gamewinners in the playoffs: Kobe: 7/28(25%) LeBron: 6/13(46%)

This guy kobe suck . People please don't compare him to Michael Jordan. Michael jordan 6 time world championship& 6 time final MVP AND NEVER LOST A NBA FINAL. Kobe win 3 championship with Shaq & Shaq was the MVP in the 3 championship not kobe. Kobe also lost 2 nba finals...
