I've always thought that Kobe had that same kind of inner strength calmness and poise that helps a player flow through the game from start to finish with focus on optimizing each micro-moment of on-court in-game time, without getting hung up on setbacks in previous possessions, or whatever fears or challenges loom ahead for the remainder of a game. Just being "in the game" is enough for the Kobes and the Stephs of this world - just enough to get their engines humming at maximum efficiency.

@@malikclowers5170 The presence of being “in the moment”…..to have skills is one thing, but to be “in the moment” with the options to use whatever is in your bag at any moment is a whole other thing….I gotta “bag” per se, but me using what’s in my bag, IN THE MOMENT, is different, sometimes I get lost in the moment of the game, and I get that, but he’s saying that he’s ALWAYS in that moment of using whatever he has, whenever he wants, to get whatever shot he wants…….and it’s not close….just look at his highlights…..it’s close to impossible to do what he does without it…..watch how he weaves thru Clippers defenders to hit that 3……that’s SO TOUGH, and most bball heads would agree on that….

I’m trying to get that skill . Presence of mind . It comes sometimes . I played one game n scored 30 off just shooting and I wasn’t thinking . And sometimes I’m so focused Play my best wen I try to calm my mind down . But sometimes I often wanna win so much I do to much and mess up and make brain cramp plays . But I felt how it is to be in the zone u can’t miss and ur mind feels good it’s a feeling nothing else can give u not even smoking weed . I know wat u mean about having a bag but having the skill to use it wen it matters cause everyone freezes up sometimes but we try to limit that.. but I want to find a way to always be in that presence of mind state . Kinda like super sayian mode of basketball u know always locked in calm . … and sometimes ur calm and locked in and still miss . So it’s a mind game honestly . If u can master the mind game the basketball game u can Winn 75% of the time

In psychological terms, it's called the 'flow state'. It doesn't just happen in sports, it can trigger when you're doing one of your hobbies, when you're working, or studying, etc. But I think Kobe was also alluding to the composure Steph has on the court. He doesn't create drama, get into fights, or stroke his ego against other players. He just does what he needs to do to the best of his ability. Even if he's having an off shooting game, he still finds ways to elevate his team like no other. He's a selfless, confident, forward thinking player.

Old NBA players never got humiliated by Argentina and other European countries, players today is normal they get their asses kicked, I remember the first time NBA players lost in the Olympics it was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to USA basketball, players should have gone into exile, embarrassing white Europeans and even argentinians kicking the ass of this superior more athletic American players, so yes Old NBA players better than today's players but obviously common sense there's some really good players today too and Curry is definitely a great one but as a group gtfooh, start dominating the rest of the world like the dream team 1 and 2 did and them you'll get some respect .
