What could they change?Normally on facelifts only bumpers, headlights, rear lights and dashboard.I hope skoda doesn't make it worse.

The plastic piece you found in the boot is designed to fit between the 2 posts for the front seat head rests, the square hole in the centre takes different accessories such as a tablet/phone holder or a coat hook. It's a Genuine accessory, not sure why it was with the RS because they don't have the required head rests

It's a pretty balanced car. 245hp is more than enough for such a family vehicle. No need to buy a Passat =)

Engine cover is missing because Skoda removed them in service action on sold vehicles also, until new version arrive due to safety issues.For 2.0tsi versions.

From czech person :) “v” means “in” so you can call car only with rs. In Czech rep. we call car also octavia rs ;)

I have it and you are not missing much. Really dissapointed in the sound system. Its fine at best, but I expected that sound quality to be the standard system, not the optional one....

In Germany, we called it RS. But I know, that in England it is called VRS.. So I think it depends on the market. Even in the EU ^^

I think it came about from a complaint by Ford U.K. as they used RS for their performance cars, so Skoda had to put V in front of their RS badge

@@JRCarReviews I really am thinking of buying this car, the lime colour is insane. I just can't get over the fact that I won't have at least a sunroof, I'm driving a Hyundai I30 now with it open most of the time. I get the less KG and more stability, but if they can have it in the Superb they can have it here, even CUPRA Leon has it and it's even faster.

26:56 engine bay and underside of the hood aren't even fully sprayed in color. No lacquer I can understand, but this is just sad on a 46.000 euro car.

Porsche are using Mamba green …it’s a darker colour from Porsche…I think …the family of cars from vw …. I’m 55 and I’ve moved away from driving cars and motorbikes …after 40 years of driving …since being a racer from 15 … in Scotland…[ I still hold the 200mph street thirty record on a modified 1300gsxr ] which holds a life long ban…if stupid enough to film it..]

It's a beautiful car but in my modest opinion the quality of the plastics on the interior are very low.Even my Octavia have better plastics.

It's better not to have the plastic engine cover, especially in hot environments it allows the engine to breathe. I would take it off. It's a waste, really.

@@MarkoViking In Ankara/Turkey, they made my 1 year old brand new Skoda Octavia smell very bad after a air conditioner cleaning application. After I complaint they didn't even fix it. It got even worse in time. When i open the door in the morning, bad smeel smashes into my face. I breath that bad air while i am in the car. It can cause health problems...

@@errorcode200 Your cabin filter has probably become damp due to them spraying crap in the vents, replace it and crank the heating full bore for a minimum 30 mins to kill any other bacteria

@@eponymous7910 Cabin filter is replaced with a new one 1 month earlier. It didnt fix it. I assume the service used the worst quality air conditioner cleaner (foam). It gets sticky in time and holds dusts and any kind of bacteria. It makes very bad smell in the car every morning. Even while i am driving the car. What is worse is that they just ignore me. They are poisoning people with bad quality air conditioner cleaning stuff. Also they take your money to poison you.
