Hyundai was never a competition of VW , and that's the reason they discontinued their new 1.4 turbo engine within 3 years and started giving 1.5 with 160 hp just to beat VW, it's obvious, hope VW take it seriously and increase the power output of their 1.5 Tsi engine..

Handling and dynamics goes to VW, but polos handling is worse and fans have overhyped it, remeber back in 2012 where hyundai gave a 128 bhp diesel motor in a family sedan which gave 20-24 mileage and which did 0-100 in 9 sec which absolutely destroyed its competeriors. Im talkng about entry segment cars and not D - segment.
