But when he fought those guys and became friends with that girl.. he threw away all the worries in the world.. he forgot his bag in those streets. Next morning he still picked up his bag but when he searched his dog. Again when he found his dog, he left that bag in the fields forever!❤️

The first time I saw this video was in 2015 when I was 13. I remember that I cry a lot, coz I imagine losing my pet and my dad comforted me. Now I’m 20 and my dad died almost 6 years ago, and past year my pet died. This song and video means a lot.

My dog passed away last week .He was with me for 17 years , loved me like no one ever did.

I feel like his bag is a physical representation of his stress and his insecurities. that's why he forgot it when he was with the girl and when he found his dog. EDIT: also he has his bag whenever he was worried or "had his walls up" e.g. when he was looking for Digby he had his bag on and same when he went to work, and when he got home and found Digby he dropped it. man i love Kodaline

Have you noticed that every time he is without the bag he doesn't doubt himself. Example, when he got into the fight he just threw it aside. I believe losing the bag sort of symbolizes that he accepts himself the way he is and when he loses the doubt ( symbolized by the bag) he is more confident and Happy. Just my take at 4 in the morning.

I just discovered this song today and i have already lost count of how many times i have listened to it. This is a masterpiece Kodaline, Angelic voice that cuts deep accross the soul and makes you sob 😭 . My new favourite i will never get tired.

Gosh, I lost my dog once like 2 years ago, it was the saddest night of my life, i kept looking for him all night until 4 am, I slept in the house front yard that day for only 2 hours before going to college, I was so depressed all next day, missed my structural analysis class just to go home early that day tocontinue looking for him... cried more than ever in my whole life... Fortunately my brother found him the next day all dirty and scared some miles away from our house. He's still with us :)

When his dog left the house I was like NO NO NO NOOOOO And then I cried at the gran reunification. Dogs love people more than humans do. Edit over a year later: My dog is slowly dying and I find myself crying to this song once again... Edit2: He passed away today, 20.05.2022, 19 PM. I will miss you buddy. 😢
