Recent trip to Kodiak Island to visit my daughter and do some exploring. Beautiful Island with lots of great wildlife, including Kodiak bears!

I had the pleasure of visiting that same site summer 2023. Crazy how close the bears were. Spent 2hrs just watching...

I’m a travel nurse and stumbled on your video because I’m going to Kodiak this week for work! I’ll be there for 4 months. Gosh it looks incredible!

I suspect it will be a little cooler for your tour. Hopefully you can still get out and experience the island. My daughter did her tour around may to July.

I have live here in Alaska the past 40 years, many places up here and Kodiak is so different even for Alaska standards! Residents know this! Yeah weather can be bad but what you can see here is unlike anyplace on earth! Simple! It’s a Kodiak thing most will never get, except those of us who have seen much of Alaska!😉👍

Hi! great video. Question, did you travel nurse there? I am looking into doing that now. Seems the housing is pretty expensive but I want to make it happen.

@@angelaroche1970 I worked as a travel nurse there during the summer last year and it was a great experience. My contract actually had housing included, provided by the hospital, along with a rental car.

Small world, I worked at your pilot, Kyles parents wilderness lodge at Zachar Bay! To really see Kodiak, you got to get out of town! Simple!

I lived there, nice vid but you showed just around Kodiak town, real kodiak is outside town only accessible by floatplane or boat! Just saying.😉👍

What’s really amazing is the trails your walking aren’t made by people! They are bear trails walked for generations! Just saying 😳😳😳No place like Alaska! Simple.😉👍
