Koenigsegg builds the most insane vehicles in the world, bringing engineering achievements that nothing else on the road can remotely match. These Swedish hypercars are fast, expensive and extremely rare, and we recently had the opportunity to spend some time with 1 of the 80 Regeras ever made. The Regera is a megacar with a hybrid powertrain, combining 3 electric motors with a bespoke 5.0L twin turbo V8, this results in a combined power output of 1500 horsepower. All of this power is delivered without a tranmsision, instead the Regera features Koenigsegg Director Drive with Hydrocoup. This car is also beyond simply performance, featuring some amazing creature comforts like heated seats, wireless Apple Carplay, two wireless phone charges and not one...but two cupholders. When I say this car is unlike anything else in the world...it literally is. Enjoy this review, certainly the craziest car I have ever driven and reviewed!
