this game is freaking amazing its a breath of fresh air to the fighting game community

Was watching some SF4 videos, and man KOF is just so much faster and more exciting. Justin Wong puts on a good show either way though. Thanks for posting these!

The essence of this game is how to save your super for a bigger purpose. That is what a team battle is about. Justin needed to realize that this is not a SF game.

Any so-called "fighting game expert" who BARELY knows either SF or KoF, deserves to be called a loser. I played both game and I love both. Claiming either is better/harder/awesomer/whatever than the other is just petty.

Hey. Fair dues, you're right. I was taken aback that you said I 'missed the point'. This is a reason not a justification, however, so you're quite right. I am sorry. As for Cricket, well a lot of peeps don't get it, but it's really got quite an international following. I guess the complex mix of rules and tradition make it difficult to access. A great game, but I understand that most don't like it. :) Recently, I've found myself going back to real sports after getting into E-sports. It's weird.

I've seen it in professional matches. I've seen people quit just after the first attack starts because their build didn't work or they didn't do it right. Its about running a build and that's all.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this game on here.

Dang I didn't know there were games like this out there. I'm looking forward to picking this game up. This fighting game will be like a nice break away for the fighting game community.

From what I've seen of starcraft matches all I know about SC2 is running a build and if that doesn't work its game over. That's just from what I've seen though.

Yo no digo que Justin sea el mejor, lo que unico que digo es que para alguien que no juega regularmente al kof llegar al 3er lugar es bastante bueno, te habla de la habilidad de la persona para adaptarse a los juegos. Obviamente hay muchos mejores, pero la mayoria de ellos son koferos de corazon, lo unico que hice fue presentar mis respetos a alguien que sin saber mucho llego al 3er lugar

@madskilliz combos are like sf4 with links and cancel from certain normals.

So how does this game play? Is it like street fighter (with 2 frame links n stuff) or like mahvel (button sequence combos)?

I named two internationally-played sports because I didn't know where you were from and thus chose two examples with the most appeal. None-the-less, I'm not sure I'd parade ignorance around as a rebuttal to a discussion. You'll find similar examples in your sports too. Anyway, like you said, time to move on. @Cassify06 Yeah cuz random supers are really good in a game where super meter is even more limited avoiding them is easy and punishing is easier. He lost because of his lack of combo knowledge and KoF fundamentals.

You also have to look who the competition was.

@RSSJBroly Well, I'm also pretty impressed he could make it this far. I saw him drop a lot of combo with Athena at some moment. A true Athena would easily deal a major combo in those moments pretty much easily.

I wonder why they are pushing KOF so much now? Maybe the company decides to pay and have a better presence in North America? Anyway, the game is fun to watch.

@zhaoyun255 Justin was just playing the game how he knows how to play. As long as he's winning, does it matter what play style he uses? Yeah he lost, but he made it to WFs/LFs just by using his SF play style and his general FG knowledge.

Your comment didn't really make sense. Justin got 3rd place against people who have been playing longer than him. Still pretty good, since "he barely knows how to play".

I've seen professional cricketers bowl underarm on the final ball of a test. I've seen professional footballers handball to score the winning goal of a world cup. What does that mean? Exactly nothing. Pros are people. People make mistakes. The fact is that SC2 is a multiplayer game. Way too many people play it like a one player game and get punished for it. You might have seen the GSL finals, it doesn't change the truth of my statement.

He is a pretty big loser still. He only learned the game because it was popular and not because he enjoys it. That's what he always does. It's no coincidence that he just suddenly learns a game if it's gonna get tournament play. Except Guilty Gear, cause he'd suck too hard at that and get 0th place because Daigo couldn't even get good enough at Guilty Gear.
