Koh Samui is a paradise island in Southeast Asia. It is Thailand in a nutshell, with beautiful beaches, mountains, nature, night markets and mystical temples. I'm sure this video will get Koh Samui on your list. On a trip to Thailand you should definitely not skip Koh Samui. We stay in Lamai and visit Coral Cove Beach and Silver Beach. We also dive into the jungle to the Magic Garden and the Na Muang waterfall. We then sail by boat to heaven on earth, hundreds of small islands in And Thong! Along the way we see many different animals and it is one big adventure.
We are visiting Thailand on a one year world tour and we may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Brazil. Thailand is already our fifteenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first in Thailand and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! This is absolutely awesome as Thailand has been on my bucket list for such a long time and had a plan to go two years ago, but that didn't work out. So I have just been waiting right now for the right time and your videos really make the time go faster as I will go travel to Thailand this winter. Hi Nikki! Thanks so much 🙏🏻 We had been to Thailand many times, but now it had been six years. It was amazing to be back and not much has changed for the worse. Of course I hope the people in tourism will get more business, bur the places were also extra special with less mass tourism. Thailand has so many great things to see and do 😍

@@WoutoftheWorld we have been back to Phuket twice during Covid and it was very ‘spooky’. Everything was closed but we are so happy to see businesses are recovering. My heart was broken that so many people were affected. We are going to Samui for Christmas & hopefully will be able to spend much of our time in Thailand over the next few years.

Really neat video on the tourism of Koh Samui. My wife is Thai. We will always stop in Koh Samui when we return to her home country. Her aunt ("Soi'dow") has a therapy spa there & auntie is married to a German retired professional ocean angler (Peter). Also, her best friend (Siriwan Jaisue') has an internet cafe as well as being a resort & hotel mgr. there. Been twice & I have seen everything...except Koh Som/Koh Lum Mu Noi. It's small. It's uninhabited. It's PERFECT for someone like myself; who likes extended stays of recluse & exploration. It's my next stop. NO 'amenities" OR fancy stuff. I know enough of the language & customs to get by when over there, so it's an advantage when back in Thailand. more or less the "slightly experienced fahlang". Cool shout-out to the "mummified monk" at the temple.

Hi Kevin! Yes, the English is always published just after the Dutch one 😜👍🏻 No problems at all. I think there are some areas that are no-fly-zones, but I haven’t seen any signs. Authorities didn’t care much either..

What time did you go to coral cove? Been there twice around 3pm it last few days and been pretty busy. Still great though.

Hi Formulaic, we went there around 10 in the morning and stayed until 1PM. I guess it gets more crowded in the afternoon. Yes, such a great place 😉

I have visited Thailand 4 times and Koh Samui was my 2nd visit there after visiting Bangkok for the 2nd time (and yes I did the day trip to Ayutthaya from Bangkok as well). I loved Koh Samui and nearby Koh Tao but my favourite Thai destinations are Krabi (Ao Nang, Koh Phi Phi and Railey) and Koh Lipe. Not a fan of Phuket and I've avoided Pattaya

Totally agreed! Didn’t get the vibe in Pattaya either. Phuket had some nice parts, but the party area was a bit too much for us a couple of years ago 😂 we’ve been to Thailand over 10 times now and saw almost every corner of the country. There are some islands that I would like to explore next time. I also never went to Pai, but I guess it’s not really a family place.

@@WoutoftheWorld I never been to Pattaya and glad I've stayed away from there. Phuket was OK in some parts but Krabi was much better IMO I did Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Krabi/Ao Nang/Railey, Koh Lipe, Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Bangkok and Koh Yao Noi but I want to do one more visit to Thailand and see Chiang Mai as well as Koh Chang and Koh Kood

Hi Sardar, the kayaks were brought onto the boat. It was included in our tour from Koh Samui and we used them to enter the beach in Ang Thong when we arrived there. 😁👍🏻

"Ultimate Travel Guide to ALL BEACHES" Big lie, i was happy to watch the video but clickbait title is sad and wrong. you only show basic touristic locations and miss most of Samui Gems and beaches. You only show the 2 most popular tourist beaches, so many other and so beautiful. thanks for your video but be honest ;) cheers

The cost of accommodation on Samui is expensive….idk about the $10

Bottom prices that were on the internet at the time of our stay. A huge room with a pool is only about $30. Prices right after COVID were extremely low.. so much competition and still so few tourists.
