They played this live in London last year. They got us to do the actions. The crowd went wild. I thought Babymetal was the most intense gig I had been to, but MtH dial it up to 12.

MTH Live in one of those crowds is the dream! They have a few massive summer concerts in Japan like this that draw in like all their biggest bands, they list some of them in the end of the video.

This Band just loves music. You can see it whenever they're playing and you can hear it too. They just have fun and they the fun they have can be seen from any shot in any angle. The vid with e the green screen in particularis the best example for that, imo. The dance looks stupid and cool at the same time and MTH produces the best live audience I've ever seen with this \o/ and it also produced your best reaction video, thus far ;)

They had a series on KZfaq where they try to find young fans to create their own MTH cover band with full support and money from the members themselves, despite the fact it’s in Japanese, it is still hilarious, heartwarming and you can kinda understand what’s going on. First it’s like an American idol thing, then a reality show, then a challenge mini-game show separated in teams and stuff. It’s so baffling, but at the end it’ll be worth it. They even did an entire concert of the cover band with thousands of maximum fans moshing, at the end it was super emotional because they got to perform their favorite bands songs and have full support from Their favorite band watching them off stage. You can find the concert on KZfaq MTH are the best man Their newest videos have the young members as cameos (Hunger Pride, the guy killed by a fork by Ryo) And they themselves have their own music video.

MTH just has that certain magic to them, it's hard to explain but you can definitely feel it. This might have been already recommended to you guys before, but since you love MTH so much, I think you'll find Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to be a pretty interesting band too.

There is a live version of this where all these different bands come up on stage with them, it’s really fun. All those bands happen to be in Sim’s music video for baseball bat also which has pretty brutal lyrics.

Nice. This is one of my favorites of theirs. Another to check out: コロナナモレモモ 『恋のメガラバ』. Apparently MTH had an audition and chose five people to form a sort of proxy band in the last year or so. That song is a cover of Koi No Mega Lover that they did. Pretty dope.

The direct translation is Love Sperm. The video is a nix of the real video and a compilation of some of the live videos, and pic's of them from when they were young, made by a fan.

There's another older video of the same song, with only them dancing (the thing you see on the left top). Maybe you want to check that out too. If you remember the music video for Menkata cottelee, the girl in the intro was watching that video. There's also another song called "My girl" where they told us how to dance. That song is all about vaginas so it's kind of a twin song to this one.

guys, I was wondering: I've hear a lot of talk about MTH's label being very trigger happy and reactors having had big problems after doing videos by them. You've done quite a few now with seemingly no problems whatsoever (that I know of at least). Did you take any special precautions?

If you guys don't know, VAP has no scream at all because Daisuke-han, the scream vocalist, has a neck problem and have to mame a cirurgy and all, at the same time, they're moving from VAP to SONY as a producer and stuffs like that, so, the VAP song is a no screaming music becase Daisuke cannot jumping around and scream because of the injury, and they troll us (again) telling because of that, they'll not release a screaming song anymore! But in sequence they made the Maximum the Hormone 2 and is all good again! Also, VAP has no language in his lyrics, they're imitating a artist in Japan that brought a peace of style which is singing whatever he wants if it sounds good in the music, so the VAP is singed in a language that no exist at all! And Koi no Sperma is a song that as you can see, the band itself made a routine, and always is played in stage to finish the show or in the Encore, so is a real happy song and across the world, every fan make the whole routine in their live (even here in Brazil it happened!) and always is so much fun! Nice work guys, keep it up! Koi no Sperma = Amorous Sperm. Few Japanese words end on a consonant other than "n", and even most of those have a vowel. Japanese tend to put add vowels at the end of English words out of habit. For example, Band-Maid they pronounce "bando maido"; and Babymetal, is pronounced bebimetaru. The Kami Band is the Kami Bando.

I was so confused since I also didn't understand what it was about, but it seems they had some kind of audition for the band on tv. found that on youtube, some weird characters appeared, and sometimes they joined them. I was so confused, are they really that big to take fake or funny auditions and it being shown on actual tv there?? XD

I believe they held auditions for a MTH cover band which later released a video for “Koi no Mega Lover” in which Ryo makes a cameo appearance. I only caught a couple of the auditions, but one of them was with Nyango Star auditioning for the drummer position, which means its not Nao under the apple-cat suit since she was judging the audition.

If you ever want to try another weird Japanese band (even if it's not metal) you should listent to Shinsei Kamattechan, you never know what you will get with each song (My favoutrites are Yugata no piano, Ruru suicide show on a livestream, Ghost girl shinite, Ultimate Razor and Zuttomo).
