Heavenly Father I come to you today I’m struggling, dear Lord. I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. I’m struggling to do it all, and I feel so alone. Lord heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. The example of the disconnect between Scripture and prayer and the will of God is a poor one. Trying to manipulate God with Scripture is nothing new. In truth you cannot make the Bible say anything you want. The person who tries to do this is in the wrong, not Scripture. How can you know Gods will outside of Scripture?
