Omg! How sad. My niece also experienced this. One day she woke up and lost her memory and didn’t know who her husband was and demanded him to take her back to my parents house (her grandparents who raised her after the death of her mother). He was so sad that she lost her memory about him. They were high school sweethearts. He came to stay with her and held her hands all night kneeling. After a month of her grandparents convincing her and telling her that he is her husband and shows all their pictures and wedding pictures to her, she finally went back home. She said till this day she lost a part of her memory of that decade but she is well now. She isn’t taking any pills or has dementia off and on like your wife. She now has two cute babies and their love is still strong. Sending you prayers and hugs! Your life is like a movie. So very sad. Crying with you.
