Literally just made a reddit post about this asking for coping mechanisms! You dont want it to feel like the end of the world but it does. Its gotten to the point where i jist disassociate from the plans and dont get my hopes up so when they change im not as affected

Autism is a developmental disorder. Not a mental disorder, I get your concerns. However, it's best to do more research to learn the difference between Autism & other disorders. And resources that can help if you are.

no. autism is a lot more than this. literally neurotypical people experience ALL of these things in the video.

@@EBZTHEUNDERTAKER nobody online can make that judgement for you. you should go see a psychologist to get diagnosed if you're worried. i don't know you or your life or your symptoms, i was just making it clear that these symptoms shown in the video are all experienced by neurotypical people and it's not a sole indicator of autism. i have experienced literally all three of these and i am not autistic. the only person who can tell you if you're autistic or not is a psychologist.

@tk1ny my psychologist diagnosed me with ADD, does this count? Back when I was in high-school cuz I was depressed for the first time

@@EBZTHEUNDERTAKER well these can definitely qualify as symptoms from ADD, but you can't forget that these are just normal human experiences as well and don't always have to be a "symptom" of something. ADD and autism have some mutual symptoms hence why they often get confused with one another during some diagnoses. i wouldn't worry about any of this too much unless it's disrupting your daily life anyway, but if you're really really worried i would go get diagnosed for autism and see if it comes through as a positive diagnosis or not.

They do be throwing that word around to the point that we're ALL autistic by their logic and standards 💀
