While visiting Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, we took two memorable day-trips. The first was a loop up to Sapphire Lakes and the second was to the magnificent Kokanee glacier itself.

what are the chances that someone could drown in that lake by way of avalanche and never be found?

Pretty slim but if it ever happened they should help build a cabin in the area.

@@LifeIsAdventureChannel You've been to this place? Did you hear about Michel Trudeau drowned there and they couldn't find the body? Does that make sense to you?

@@realest_shirts Sorry I thought you were being facetious so I followed suit. Yeah I know what you're talking about.

@@LifeIsAdventureChannel Nah, I'm actually asking if you've been there, and what are the actual chances of someone getting pushed into that lake by an avalanche? It does seem unlikely but I've not been and there's no videos online of anyone skiing down the hill and then stopping short of that lake.

@@realest_shirts I've only been there in the summer (heli access only in winter so more complicated). There are definitely more risks in the winter but people are up there all winter every day so I'd say for the case of Michel T, it was a bit of a freak accident.
