Yeah my brother is an ER doc... I'm a hospitalist. Yeah hopefully next spring I'll get out fly fishing more. last spring it didn't happen.

BOY, it has been a long time with pictures/vids ... nice to see you are back ... had a wonderful time at Sulphourus Lake , Kokanne tournament on the August long weekend (2022) ... you should pencil it in for 2023? .... thanks Doyle ....

Yeah I am trying to put up a bit more content. Glad you still remember me. Thanks for your kokanee tips! Hope this year is a better Kalamalka Kokanee Fishery. I might go up to sulphurous ice fishing if I can make it. Supposed to be good.

You cover many items others do not regarding safety, regulations per body of water, hook sizes, Yadda-yadda (means all after the details...like etc..) so thank you for that. I'm about to turn 64 and I just recently started ice fishing a few seasons ago and as an avid YT (KZfaq) watcher for tips and tricks I naturally discovered your channel. I appreciate your insights and have incorporated tips you've given. Happy Holidays to you and your ladies!

@@zubertish Excellent I'm glad you've gotten into ice fishing. It is a great winter activity. Im glad you like the details. Sometimes I think I'm too detail oriented and maybe people find the info segments boring. Glad some people find it valuable. I personally think the details are what catches you fish. So hope to inspire people with that thought when they are headed out!

Really... They are pretty easy to catch in some lakes and other times I can't buy a bite. Thats fishing.

I'd love to fish Flaming Gorge some time. Big Kokanee. You ice fish for them there? I see them catch big Lakers there in the winter too.
