Indeed fresh lolo is unbeatable even though you had to make do with what's available in your area inland. And "poisson crude" would mean raw fish in French if I'm correct having learned a bit of French myself when you mentioned Tahiti. Vonu also means turtle as shown in the logo on the lager which you're correct.

Can we use lime juice in a bottle? (Lime is so expensive)

Personally, I don't generally like the flavour of the bottled stuff. But if you don't mind the taste, it should work. Myself, I would use fresh lemon ahead of bottled lime, but then lemons can be expensive too.

@@mimimi9169 As I've never tried it I can't say for sure 100%. The acid content would need to be the same as the fresh juice.... I'd probably experiment with a small inexpensive bit of fish before using a good quality and more expensive quantity of it.
