The bag takes a little practice to get the hang of. Glad to see you’re backing these boats. I have a bunch of recons in GP if you’re ever wanting to come up and play on the Sheep Creek in them

@@AQOutdoors It’s short so the keen are usually out late March checking ice to get the local laps in. High water in Grande Cache usually coincides with summer solstice for the Sulphur and the Sheep becomes more novice friendly for packrafters with a solid self rescue late July ish but an accomplished paddler with a good crew would likely enjoy it when it’s higher as well. I’ve been working on establishing a multi-day run for packrafts on the Torrens/Naraway/Wapiti system up here. Show up, learn to paddle, pack and raft type deal. These boat are legit.

Is there enough room inside to stow a backpack (like for a backcountry pack & raft trip)? It looks well built - I hope you can show us how it works on the water once your additional bits arrive. Thanks for sharing!

This model (I neglected to talk about somehow) has the tzip so you can pack gear inside the tubes. I would be happy packing this for at least a lightweight 3 or 4 day trip.

Thank you for the review. Do you think this would be sturdy enough for one man and a 80 pound ( large) dog going down mild rivers ?

Hi Brandon. Our pleasure! I thinknthat woukd be pushing it space and weight wise. The Nirvana is a pretty snug fit even juat for a paddler.

I’ve used a similar model with two 40lb dogs in it. Does just fine, but it does make paddling difficult if they won’t lay down and stay put. I ended up putting the, down in the kayak and up on the bow, and I sat up on the stern. For class 1 or even some milder class 2s, I think this would work. If you’re also adding gear, however, I think you’d be well overweighted.

@@PickledShark awesome. Thanks so much for the anecdotal information. Really great to hear real use case experiences.
