I was a gentleman's club DJ for eight years on Bourbon St and the level of strength, practice and discipline that went into the moving artwork on display here is staggering. So much respect for that dancer.

I live in Thailand since 5 yrs. Il did think exactly as you when i saw a pole dance show in Pattaya...yes you heard me. I think 80% of people were there for the crack and the beautiful women and yes to perv a lot. But my God... their dancing skills were out of this world. Truly beautiful and how much work and sweat and work out behind the show. I ended up chatting with some of the dancers. Such sweet and lovely girls they told me how many hrs of work and commitment and strenght there are behind every show. I've never saw a lap dance show in the same way after that. Respect for them. At least some of them.

@@tyl3rj2 people don't understand how strong they actually have to be and how good their cardio is. I've worked out with a couple pole dancers before while training for my next fight and it always blew my mind how strong they actually were and also how good their endurance was, they just seemingly didn't tire.

I really can't get the people who say that he ruined a legendary song? like, I think he done great! Remaking old songs isn't something bad, it's totally the opposite. This way the younger generation will know about the old good music. I loved this song so freaking much and I thought it's his but then I found out it's actually an old song. And he had done great with the remake, for those who think that old music is better well stay living in the eighties then! You have to accept that the world is going forward and with that everything changes and music is one of the things that change. This is not trash, this is a good music that represents the time we live in right now I think it's beautiful how this song shows the development of music through the years and i'm pretty sure people from one hundred years forward will LOVE this. This isn't a trash just because it isn't the same old version. We have to be thankful for the artist for letting the youngers know about the old songs. but honestly i prefer this one better♡

The reason people think he messed up the original song it probably because of the picture of the stripper scenes. This is still a sensitive topic, and people think it isn't right to promote this kind of things. The music is truly fantastic, yet the video says otherwise. Perhaps if the video had not use such scenes, people would appreciate the song truly. i personally like the song, but the music video just wasn't right. Edit: right. Pole dancing not stripping, sorry for correlating the two. But it is rather still uncomfortable

The stylish ambiance that comes out of this is very aestethic neon 80's vibe, pleasing and hypnotic glow camera work, and the concept of the poledancer as a catarthic flow releasing of past emotions is just pure harmonic motion, im in love with this song reinterpretation.
