Out of all the scenes in GvK, this one scene combined with the music showcases the best emotion and feel of the scene. You really feel the weight of it. The ost here may be my most favorite original work in the Monsterverse so far. May upload the scene with the original music later.

I love how in the movie the scene is presented as this big and dramatic moment, but Kong's just there like "Hmm. Nice chair."

I really hope this franchise continues into more solo movies for both giants. This is by far the best version of Kong we've seen. He's no longer confined to Skull Island or New York City lol and we learn about his ancestors. He's had more character development than all previous King Kong's put together. He is way smarter and presumably a lot older than the other versions. And he's not even King yet. I really hope they show more of his time as King Kong

He started as the king of the remote skull island, a small corner in the big world. Now, he rules an ENTIRE world of titans known as hollow earth. All hail the king✊🏼

The world in this movie is absolutely mind blowing and jaw dropping. Truly an amazing cinematic experience.

Finally Kong has become KING Kong

I love the idea that kongs ancestors were intelligent enough to carve all of those shapes out of the rocks

It's amazing to think was this world was like when Kong's race built this place and ruled over it. I have been a life long Godzilla fan but I can't deny this Kong is now in a close second for my favorite giant monster.

The scale in this movie suprises me a lot I mean take a look at this scene for example 1:47, if Kong is 100 metres tall then it makes those pillars well over a kilometre tall! Like, what?!?

Just a shout out to Willis O'Brien for bringing us Kong to begin with. A hella movie especially if you can see it in a rep theater that has the big box shape screen like the old days. "Amarama......Kong." No truer words were ever spoken.

At long last, Kong has become worthy of the title “King Kong”.

I luv how at the same time we enjoys the monsters fighting, we get to have these adventure movie vibe where they take us to explore undiscovered abandoned ancient world.

1:48 that whole place is like Kong's own home! Kong literally looks a human being! And that place is what our home looks like to us. Kong really does look like an ordinary human with that door and those stairs. Who else noticed this?

Crazy to think he's still small in comparison to the building as if he's us standing in like a cathedral or the roman Colosseum.

The scene at the end of this video where they show how small the people are compared to him when he is sitting down is the only time in the movie that Kong actually looks like he is the 340 ft tall monster that he is listed to be for this movie. In every other scene, he doesn't look like he grew at all.

There’s two versions of Kong that I liked The more silver back gorilla version from King Kong And this version witch really reminds me of the original stop motion puppet version just given a massive glow up

Even though this isn’t my favourite version of kong, i still like the fact that they finally gave us a look at where king came from, even if it’s not really canon

Well, this was just an amazing movie to watch. The director did a fabulous job making this movie. It gives us information about where Kong and Godzilla came from which is called The Hollow Earth. But most importantly, they made Godzilla and Kong have an epic fight!

After Watching Godzilla X Kong The New Empire, we can see Skar dwells near some Volcano like thing similar to where Kong finds the axe and the throne. Maybe it was Skar King's former residence.

Nevermind about the axe 🪓 & all that... Look at immense scenery of this hollow earth from a standpoint... We all know the earth 🌎 is a vastly giant globe, but damn... Godzilla towers over Kong in a major way.. but compared to where Kong is standing, this hollow earth would swallowup the both of them... Dare anyone to say 'Land Of The Giants'....

After watching the teaser for The New Empire, I think that might have been someone else's chair and axe 😬

Honestly, during this scene, I was expecting Godzilla to walk in through those doors and have a flashback of when he was here with other Godzillas during their war with the Kongs. so many of his kind fell here, leaving him the last one. the nightmares of seeing his kind die still haunt him. then he and Kong duke it out, finishing what should have ended here in these halls long ago.

When he's standing in front of the carved door, you forget he's a little bigger than the statue of liberty... the cavern scene, that's basically the statue of liberty walking around in a cavern as tall as the prominence of matterhorn that would encompass basically all of lower manhattan with seating for the spectators that is something like at least 3 1/2 times taller than the pyramid of giza and at least 13 times more "sitting" slope.

I’m curious, Kong is suppose to be “special” in terms of how big he gets. Yet here there was a hand print as big as his. So I guess KONG wasn’t that special.

If Kong's ancestors built this building, it'd be a far more interesting story to see why their brains got smaller over time and they lost their tool building ways...
