Mother used to do same receipt, chopped beef or lamb, add fresh chopped onion and parsley, salt and black crushed pepper, make these dumplings, in the soup, usually with Pumpkin or Okra. In Israel when I first time est in Chinese restaurant, I thought, could be Jewish people from Iraq, immigrated to China, and learned Asian cooking?... Kong and wife, you are very very brave, to go prepare it in the crowded market, with all them women/housewives, that hurried to buy, while it so boiling hot, to take home and enjoy such delicious food.
