I have to say that something that I personally would have liked (in the movie) is that after the blow, Godzilla had a scar on the left side of his face, that would have been cool in my opinion, but well it's my point of view nothing more.

Actually, it wouldnt have only been more cool, it would have probably been more realistic : Kongs axe was supercharged. It should have left a mark on godzillas face.

It was fatal if it hit godzilla he would’ve died and then he was knocked unconscious for a little bit

It didn’t hit him though. The explosion was strong enough to knock him down. And he survived it. So it wasn’t fatal.

O and by this comment I want to say that I have a doubt that Kong's durability could be as same as Godzilla's as When the energy on atomic breath hit kong he wasn't injured so much and didn't got knocked like 20meteres back like Godzilla and wasnt unconscious too also the energy's most part hit kong too so I think it's a mutation that we could see in future movies

It was fatal. Legendary Godzilla survived permian impact / astroid that wiped 95% living which is 124 petatons , no way Legendary Godzilla would not survive a fatal blow

The only reason Godzilla survived it because the Axe was over loaded with energy and bounced off as soon it made connect. Other wise it would cut through his head.
