Konica Auto Reflex TC review and Pics

A while ago I mentioned I had acquired a Konica AutoReflex TC 35mm film camera.
I gave a brief introduction to it in the past now I have some film shots to show you from when I first used the camera.
I scanned the negs on my Epson v700 scanner. I retouched some of the shots and left others untouched .I am not sure what part of the process needs cleaning.
I was pleased overall with the use and feel of the camera and the results.
The camera uses PX625A 1.5v alkaline batteries. Also known as LR9, V625U

In '71 I bought a Konica Autoreflex T 2. I still shoot it. Just yesterday I reworked the light seals. I cannot even guess how many pictures I've taken with this camera. You have a nice, capable, quality camera and even at this date, you will get years of use from it. Congratulations! Nice find.

This is the camera and lens model that my dad bought for himself after years of wanting a good camera. He had a Tokina 70-200 zoom too. I learned on it. It was solid and magical. I just began shooting with a Leica Q2, and weirdly - it instantly took me back to this camera!

Hi just picked up the japanese version, konica ACOM-1 . It has 50mm, f1.7 lens. Does anyone know how long the weincell batteries work?

Hi Princess, sorry I don't know the answer to that.Probably at least a year I would guess.

Wein cells are zinc-air type battery chemistry. As soon as you break the seal on them and expose it to air, it starts to deplete. 3-6 months is really about all you can expect. *Maybe* a year, but I'd never count on that. They deplete *much* faster than other battery types (alkaline, silver, etc.)
