Thank you! I recently moved and that is when I saw that I actually own a clothing store in my house. There were so many clothes. I'm totally overwhelmed and will be following this method to declutter. Inhale, exhale I can breathe and relax now on my journey to more space and feeling good about it.

This is exactly what i have been going through,i went insane in a purge of junk ,i litterally let go of four trinkfulls of stuff took all to my friends thriftstore.i had gone through a seperation,three years ago i notice i stop throwing out stuff im a neat hoatder,but everyday i found my self going crazy in keeping my over abundance of things in order it was over whelming.im free now the feeling is great it took me a week i just got in this mode,anf once your in it dont stop,just keep going.

I'm a GW shopper too :) I have WAY too many clothes all over the house just like you described. I am working on going through them. I work outside the home full time so I have been going through a little each night and after I think I have gone through everything I am going to pull it all out and do this method. I know die hard Marie Kondo fans probably disagree with my method but I am doing what works for me. The first time I heard about holding an item and asking myself if it brings me joy...I was thinking that sounds a little weird ,but it does work.

it’s so hard to get caught up with material things. i used to have a shopping problem, but there was a deeper issue (isn’t there always?). but life is about people. our culture focuses too much on HOW THINGS LOOK. i appreciate your words.

Don't get rid of an item just because its old. If its still in great shape and you love it.. keep it. :) I STILL have stuff from Isaac's TARGET line and I still rock it!!!!

Great video! You have a beautiful home. I did the Konmari method 2.5 years ago before we moved houses, and have never regretted it. It was work for months! But it feels so good to have things pared down. Now the key is not to buy more. I've always decluttered too, like constantly, but it's amazing how much stuff we all have anyway.
