Can we just stop for a moment and appreciate how genius Kazuma's voice actor was? His voice was the most expressive thing I've ever heard in Anime. Like the moment he realized they will just work hard and not get anywhere, his voice was just broken, full of tears and ultimate disappointment. At the same time, every time someone said his name, simple "Yes, I'm Kazuma" gave so much personality to this character!

Being stuck in a Big Bang Theory style Isekai anime sounds like a horrible unending nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy

That Konosuba Big Bang Theory bit made me cringe harder than me remembering my middle school years.

One detail I loved were those mid-episode screens where the character says KONOSUBA. But they still were in the role when doing it. Like when they were yelling or something, the transition screen pops up and they yell KONOSUBA in the same manner. It was a little detail but it cracked me a couple of times xD

One of my favorite things about konosuba is that it doesn't portray the characters as if they're all amazing. It shows them as they are, a group of 4 clueless idiots who somehow manage to live with each other and succeed at things. Sometimes. Not with frogs thought. Definately not with frogs.

I stayed away from this anime for years because of all the hype reminded me of SAO, which I found insufferable when I tried to watch it. However, this weekend I decided to give Konosuba a shot after watching this video... ...I literally watched the whole thing in two days. It's that good.

one of my favorite things is how the dialog is written. for example when someone says the main characters name in passing he just squeezes in the line of "hi, yes here i am" and that subtle thing makes me laugh because its completely unnecessary

Konosuba = Literally following along with 4 awful main protagonists that are all self-driven and yet follow along with each other because they need each other, and no one else understands their selfishness and evil ways unless they are together. Brilliant.

Darkness's masochistic tendencies are probably the most consistently funny part of the show for me. Maybe it's because of how Kazuma is so desperately aware of how weird it makes their group look, or maybe it's because I like to play tanks in RPGs myself and you'd have to be a masochist to take that job on.

the reason this is my favorite anime is because of the found family aspect. its truly "friends are the family you choose" and youre absolutely right about feeling like youre the fifth friend. while watching this anime for the first time, mid pandemic, i was very lonely, and i literally had a couple of dreams where i was hanging out with them. i would wake up feeling a little less alone at a time when i needed to feel friendship the most.

The best part about this show for me is that, even if I was not often laughing out loud, I would still always have a huge smile on my face from start to finish. The pacing of the humor is just so good.

in addition konosuba is so fun is because it play out exactly how actual dungons and dragons plays out, you can actually see the people you play with acting exactly like this and getting into these exact sitations so the charecters feel more real

The cast of Konosuba does feel real almost. Like how real best friends would interact. Hell my friend group is similar to the Konosuba group in that we constintly make fun of, bully, and mess with each other, while still caring about each other and hanging out and having fun. Thats how the Konosuba cast are too. Realistic

The first watch of Konosuba doesn’t have a ton of laughter but is still amazing. The key factor that makes Konosuba a complete laugh fest is reading ahead and getting to know each characters quirks so well that you personally feel completely in on the joke when you rewatch the series or re-read the series. Two seasons does not even remotely do these characters the justice they deserve. I watched seasons 1 and 2 in one sitting a while back and it was great and all and i laughed a little. But then i read the light novels and rewatched the two seasons 10 times and then re read the light novels again and this is my favorite anime/light novel series of all time. I find it so enjoyable to read the light novels, such as volume 6, and imagine all of these characters antics animated. I think that any creator can and should learn so much from the characters in this story. I am a complete Konosuba simp
