Poor Seunghan living like a normal guy of his age. This industry has such a very dark side to it that is really damaging to idols. No wonder the suffer from depression and potentially ed. Then, when the worst happens, all these people pretend to be so heartbroken over the results.

It's not just the industry... this is a problem endemic to South Korean society, it is a reality, it has been published even in international newspapers. And it goes way back, remember the mobbing hate campaign against Tablo... This happens at school*, workplace, families, EVERYHWERE IN S.KOREAN SOCIETY

When is SM going to realize that having their idols apologize for something they didn't do, makes things MUCH worse? They need a better PR department. Also, the second you're born in the US, you're a citizen and you can move to anywhere in the world the next day and still be a U.S. citizen. I question the intelligence of most of these K-netizens. Anton is an American so the whole 'Samsung' being an insult to Koreans may have never crossed his mind. Samsung isn't a word Americans use to insult Koreans or Korea. It's just an electronics company.

It's not even his acc. It's not Anton's acc. He only had an acc. which was public.. he had some 1000s of followers in that IG acc. because he was pretty known even before debut because of the tv shows he was in..that guy barely knows what's hating on someone is and it's very clear ..almost his whole life was in front of the cameras..and you can clearly see there that he was living a normal kid's life despite him being an actress and a producer's son..

I completely agree.. it's so weird and stupid. I wish more companies were like KQ aka the Ateez and Xikers company. They all went through hell and high-water to reach where they are now. They Raised Ateez while bankrupt, so they have my respect. It's been repeatedly shown how much the company motivated itself to be a family. And there's plenty of examples of that.

SM's mistake was letting the haters win with Seunghan cos now they're so confident they can end the entire group. Maybe bring Seunghan back and stand by each and every members so haters stop seeing them as easy targets... I wanted to join the fandom but it's just so messy, I simply do not have the energy... I occasionally see updates on them and it doesn't seem to be getting better. SM bring Seunghan and actively protect the members instead of making them apologize for endless ridiculous rumors and literal crimes committed against them then the pool of supporters will grow bigger and drown out the haters that are just here to pick on them and feel powerful because they know SM will listen regardless. Riize is starting to feel like a scapegoat group and that sucks.

No, SM don't late the haters win. You are absokuteky forgetting about the IDOL=PERSON. He was holding up at the beginning But he just couldn't. Imagine going through mobbing, imagine seeing your group memebers afrected By it by pretending all's cool, imagine watching your family affected by it too, Being so young, with probably not the best self-esteem and confidence and yet having to deal with mobbing and the psychological pains plus work your a** off daily and sleep enough to keep going and going... Not everyone can take it. Is it worth it? Some idols go though it and the bullies keep on going, they won't stop. Like happened to NCT Taeyong, he went through it for 4 years until he put stop to it, he was swallowing the whole thing up. Other go on hiatus and come back like Lucas. Others.. we'll see what Seunghan decides to do

And if you would know something about kpop, you would also know that any agency, ANY dont take idols as "person". They never care how much is someone tired or sick until he still can make a lot of money for them. THATs the truth (unfortunately). Noone is forgetting anything, its you who obviously knows very little about dark sides of kpop and believe what those agencies say or that they "do stuff for idols good" (just lies). Btw now when Seunghan is on hiatus other members are not affected by new rumors about themself? He is not performing already for some time and haters just spread rumors about other members so dont try to play on feelings that members were affected by his case /scandal because after his hiatus they are still attacked by haters. A lot of fans miss him and what SM did was stupid because haters will always find something to hate for. If SM show that they stand on his side and gonna sue those who spreading rumors, maybe that would help him more and haters would watch out what they say in future. But like this SM let win haters...

I’ve barely heard of this group, but honestly? It seems like the whole industry has already forgotten about Moon Bin and other artists who passed away due to stress, whether it was suicide or illness. It doesn’t matter, because the consequences are real anyway. My original respect for the Korean culture is rapidly vanishing in light of all the seemingly legit harassment of celebrities. Not that it’s much better in the west. But slightly anyway. Why do they let teenagers decide who lives or dies? It’s sick.

I still don't get why people hate the fact that groups from Big3 has the privilege to be famous as soon as they debut. We're talking about the Big3 here, and especially SM; you think they're just picking anybody? Name a talentless idol from SM. None. That's because they've gone through strict selection process and rigorous trainings before they debut because obviously as a Big3, SM would only want to debut the best of the best. Simply said, their hard work pays off. Ofc that is not to say that idols from other companies doesnt work hard too, but you get what I mean. They're stable vocalists, great dancers and extraordinary rappers. I don't see why we can't hype such talents. And perhaps, luck is just on their side. So who are we to fight it?

I have a strong feeling that someone close to the group is stirring these things up. Something is off about the whole stuff its not like your normal drama. Its like someone desperately want the group to fail. Add that with the crazy netizens and psycho fans its a recipe for disaster. This is just my opinion though. Like almost half of the group is in some kind of controversey its very sad that to for a new group I hope the boys are mentally fine and doing ok. They don't deserve any of the hate.

KPOP isn’t Unionized. They can’t go on strike without the fear of breaking some clause in the contract whatever they might be. It’s more riskier financially for them to stop promoting due to netizens than it is for them to just continue doing what they do. They are so far deep in it’s going to take a lot of leg work to rid the concept of a parasocial relationship. But I also think that company greed is another ingredient in the mix.

Hopefully these idols are starting to see the light and realize that. I truly pity them. Our celebrities in America are wealthy and famous and successful and happy 😊. They are able to live their lives freely as they choose. If not it truly isn't worth it.

The music industry in America has everyone on very crazy contracts where they literally make no money off the music they sell but the shows they perform and appearances they make. Only as of recent many artists have created their own labels to run their distribution etc. and our entertainment industry runs rampant with predators to pedophiles. You have America a bit misconstrued lol. And for KPOP it’s just not feasible. Why risk going in thousands of dollars, like double triple digits deep in debt over a comment from a person you don’t even know?

While the delulu fans can be toxic and they should be called out for that but its also because of how these management companies exploit fans insecurities by letting them believe that these idols are their bfs and what not for their personal gain and profit. If only these companies put an end to dating ban and let the celebrities personally clear up dating controversies instead to have to wait for the company to give them the green signal to do something or write those handwritten letters. What is even more sickening is how so many companies don't even take immediate action against those cyber bullies; it's almost as if they don't really want to take responsibility for anything.

Netizens seriously believe that it's their job to cancel and bully idols for the smallest things even though it's not their fault or out of their control. Netizens will make false accusations against idols who they don't know or like just because they are jealous of these idols and can't stand seeing these people who have worked hard to get their careers only to get endless hate and criticism from overly jealous individuals who want them to fail just so they can laugh in their faces but then cry and play the victim card when they are caught lying. I feel bad for RIIZE, they had so many unnecessary situations coming at them. I hope in the future this group will receive less hate than they do now. And fuck SM too by the way for handling the Seunghan situation really bad. Seunghan did not deserve any of this at all.
