Back when Musicians never cussed in their songs, and the music was meaningful. I’m glad that i grew up listening to Oldies instead of the bs today, the music today is trash. Oldies is all my old man ever listened to, even till this day he bumps all these old skool jams, lol. Brings back good memories, and i’m 28 now.

27th July 2022. I grew up on this music, even owned a cassette tape of it but don't recall ever having seen this video. Always loved Steppin' Out but found it to be quite underrated, like many other great songs on the album.

Absolutely great memory of this record in 81'/82', remembering it in one of the fantastic disco clubs that I used to go to in the late 70's/early 80's , and the great times I had along with my friends meeting many attractive and smartly dressed girls on and off the dance floor. The disco scene in the mid 70's to early 80's was glorious.

Folks... "Kool and The Gang" not only wrote their own songs but they wrote and produced several others... And James "JT" Taylor ... the lead singer wrote also!

I remember playing this in the middle of a storm in P.R. back in 1980. My boom box was connected to a car battery and we had a little party while the lights were out and a deluge was falling outside our house. I enjoyed everything these guys put out on those early days of the 1980s

oh yeah ... these were the days ... and to proove the legitimacy of old school music; they stand the test of time ... PERIOD!!

It amazes me how some people these days lose their minds when some current dribble blast a note or two in falsetto. JT sings the entire song in FALSETTO people and the deepness of the "just you and me baby" in falsetto is outrageous and if you don't believe me try and sing it. This along with don't stop 'til you get enough, remain the finest examples of falsetto I've ever heard and not at all over done (unlike nowadays) ... JT you are one hell of a singer and your falsetto may just be the best I've ever heard, I definitely put you up there with the best singers I've EVER heard ... how many more times can I say FALSETTO :-)
