The mums were also very good at analyzing the backstory of characters. I watched a mum who said Childe looks like a trouble making brother, Zhongli is handsome but did something dark, and Kaeya has two sides to him. All just from the design. It's just that the simping is entertaining so it's what sticks out in memory.

I seriously respect you for introducing your parents to the genshin characters, as a person who has Muslim and super strict parents I am so hesitant to show my parents the playable characters. Mostly because some of the playable female characters have, like, revealing outfits (I don't mind what the characters wear btw) and most of them have like.... big chests, like mona and candace.
