Koorküla caves are Estonia's biggest next to Aruküla and Helme caves; this takes up at least a quarter of a hectare in area and has been formed into the sandstone probably by the consequence of water movement and has later been enlarged by people. The biggest gap is on the side of the primeval valley of Õhne, through this you can get into a 1.5 meter wide and 1.3 meter high passage and from there into a large round room, which has a height of 3.5 meters and a width of 6.5 meters. The archway leads to a small cave, where several other archways leave from, most of them collapsed though.
