Kootenay National Park in British Columbia, Canada was a pleasant surprise!
I loved everything about it. It's a natures paradise. It doesn't have tourists like Banff which I loved. You feel like it's just you and the nature. In my opinion, it's as beautiful as any other national park close by. This is coming from someone whose only focus was to go to Banff National Park.

1:35 (50.9709732, -115.9451714) MY FAVORITE PLACE in Canada. They first day I was passing by to go to Banff and made a stop there then came back another day to spend the whole day there. Still not enough! It feels like home, it feels like heaven. It is just such a beautiful relaxing mostly private since not too many people make a stop here. Kootaney River and Simpson Rivers meets and beautiful mountains as backdrop. Just a beautiful place to paint, read a book, picnic, run around with your dog, Perfect for anything and everything. A place to feel at peace. *****
