I had different chairs, and most important thing is metal stoper at feet extender. Plastic ones are complete garbage (breaks in few days of lighty use). This one looks ok.

Hi, There's no reason you couldn't use this chair for float fishing. It would be perfect if you are trying to keep the weight of your gear to a minimum. 👌
