UNDERWATER The Test Tapes” follows anglers Danny Fairbrass, Tom Dove, and Neil Spooner on an exciting journey to create a NEW Underwater carp fishing film, ten years after the groundbreaking Underwater 7 and 8.
We show you exactly how the project came to fruition, from all our exciting prep work, new underwater cameras, and everything leading up to Danny finally casting in front of our Underwater cameras once again, as filming commences. From this point, the emotional rollercoaster begins, as Danny, flanked by Tom Dove and Neil Spooner, is thrust back into the hot seat whilst his rigs, tactics, and approach are put to the test. Fishing for the BIGGEST carp ever on a Korda Underwater film, it will only take one fish to make Underwater history, so the pressure is on.

Felt like I was only 10 minutes in and wack 1 hr and 5 minutes!! I remember last year on the river Lot. I placed my underwatercamera set up. I had to dive about 3 meters to put the bait in front of the camera. Than back in the boat to the other side of the river, joining my girlfriend who was allready sitting in front of the monitor. As we were looking we saw a catfish approachingmy bait. I called my friend over in the Netherlands and put the phone on video calling so he could watch too. 15 seconds later the catfish took the bait, and someone 1250 km away went totally crazy when he saw that. And i? I was running to my rod even before my bite alarm went of! And yes, my heartbeat was about 200 at that moment. Fantastic feeling! 😁😁

One thing I'd like to see on camera is how the fish react when they are troffing and either a spod lands above them, boilies landing from a throwing stick and a rig landing on the spot. Know that will be hard too do but interesting to see if they keep feeding or move off and come back or never come back

Please don’t leave it so long between the underwater shoots…!! they really give you a perspective that you don’t see, and “how you get done” regular and you don’t know nothing about it , sat in that bivvy ,watching it is really exciting to watch ,them coming into the spot and feeding, again and again and the amount of bait they are taking in on a pass , over a spot, and the way we all get mugged off …and we don’t know it… !! absolutely brilliant..I’m sure it’s a very expensive cost to do these but we definitely need this more regularly…please… mr Korda, Danny fairbrass..what a insight ..

So many emotions in 1 film. The difficulty level of landing on a 6 inch square 😲, I would struggle at 6 FOOT!. The frustration/anger/hilarity of being done, the tension on playing it and the shear emotion when it went in the net!!! I would have been on my knees in tears. Amazing 👏

As with all the underwater vids from the 1st to the last, raises more questions than answers. You will get done no matter what hook,hook length or rig you’re using but one things for sure DF got it 100% right, Wholenut & Bounty are THE ones, great stuff guys 👌🏻👍🏻

I picked up the pva nugget not melting from my winch cam. I’ve since started tying pva tape round the nugget and just hooking the tape onto the hook. Another amazing video Korda💪🏼

Really enjoyed watching yesterday while recuperating from a foot injury. So cool to be able to watch all of the feeding activity and be in on the adjustments that led to a capture. Entertaining, beautiful, informative, and fun!
