I’m curious as to why the venue would ban Helicopter rigs. It was my understanding that heli systems were great not only for presentation but for fish safety. I know pretty much any rig can prove dangerous if tied incorrectly but just wondered if anyone could elaborate. Great vid as always by Korda and Darrell. Well done guys

Let's say your using a heli safe with a helicopter set up. The lead drops as you pull in to the fish, during the fight you snap off 40 years from the hook link, the fish is then dragging 40 yards of line around because the rig will pull up to the heli safe. All rigs carry a little bit of risk and I use a helicopter system most of the time. But if I can get away with it I put the plastic cap in the heli safe to stop dropping the lead. That way the rig will always pull away from the heli safe in the case of a snap off

Danny should address Darryl continuously breaking rules in France on public lakes in order to bolster his album, very disappointing Korda permits this. Many people have been banned by Darryl on social media for pointing out his blatant bending/breaking of the rules. I will never support anything Darryl has to do with Korda. 20years loyal customer, been fun guys.
