come spend a week with me in korea as a yonsei exchange student (part 1)! i went to class, ate convenience store lunch, explored sinchon, grabbed yummy pizza, shopped in hongdae, ordered delivery food on shuttle, and enjoyed good company. part 2 will be up soon!

hii thank you so much! because i was a study abroad student and was living in korea for more than 90 days, i needed to get my alien registration card (ARC) and yonsei’s exchange program helps students get the application done (one of the requirements is fingerprinting)!

Do you have to speak and read korean to be able to go to Yonsei?

hi! there is no prerequisite to knowing korean if you want to go to yonsei! there are so many english classes you can take as an exchange student, so there’s no expectation to be fluent. there are intro level korean classes that you can take if you would like to learn

hi! great question, i believe as long as you are a university enrolled student in any given country, you can apply to yonsei as an exchange student! i went for one semester, but some people go for two semesters aka a whole school year!
