@@Yeriprotectsquad In Korea, trainees listen to and practice countless songs. It's just one of them. Popular singers in Korean girl groups may be Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. Miley Cyrus is also not popular in Korea. However, it is an illusion to think that Little Mix is influential when it has no recognition in Korea.

As much as I like Kpop, no one is nearly close to little mix. In LM EVERYONE can sing live, they give their all in performances, write their songs, and are truly empowering through their music (unlike many gg's, who's "empowering" lyrics are just them flexing how much money/pretty/haters they have, which isn't empowering at all). They deserve much more appreciation from people

I gagged when she said, she didn’t know there were groups outside of Korea that are great at dancing. Like girl Korea 💯 percent copied and will continue to be inspired from all parts mainstream music. That’s one of the biggest aspects of how K-pop was even created. That was insane to me.

they are young, after the 2000's boy band/girlband boom ended there were not many groups that got notoriety and then One Directions' whole gimmick (aka excuse) was that they didn't dance because groups who danced were "lame", 5h were like 4 bad dancers and Normani. A lot of young people around the world were drawn to K-pop because they really danced, like a lot of people were drawn to Little Mix because they could sing and dance very well. Of course they know western artists can dance, they love Bruno Mars and Beyoncé but theres a chance they don't know Beyoncé was once in a girlgroup

They’re one of the only girl group apart from mamamoo that I know where all members are strong vocals and sing live while dancing without lip syncing, you can’t really compare them to a lot of Korean or US girl groups where there’s mixed vocal ability and lip syncing/heavy back tracks, their energy in live performances are top tier

Do you know Dreamcatcher? They are a kpop girl group that is also amazing vocally and dancing without lip syncing. Check them out if you want. Maybe watch the performance of one of their song called "Propose", its just soo good! (Sorry, I dont really wanna keep talking about the group that I like in every comment, but everytime somone says that in kpop nobody is so good(Im not saying that you said that) it makes me want to tell them about my girls...But check it out, I promisse is worth it)

I love kpop to bits, but seeing how koreans actually believe no one outside of korea can sing and dance so well is baffling. Kpop is HEAVILY inspired by western groups, especially spice girls and even little mix themselves. Obviously it’s not their fault, that’s what they’ve been taught to think, but it is insane.

@@likhwezititus And they weren't even the first ones to do it, yet they get so much credit for it. The ONLY reason why K-pop does dance crew style choreography is because of B2K. B2K made dance crew routines popular in the early 2000's during their "You Got Served" era. Which inspired the Step-Up franchise and made the style of dance popular among Asian Americans. K-pop imports 90%+ of their songwriters and choreographers from Western countries...mainly the U.S. Like Kanye said...we gave them the culture.

The day Little Mix decided to go on hiatus and focus on their personal life and their own family I was so sad and happy at the same time. LM is my fave girl group up until now no other group for me is like them with 4 outstanding vocals and amazing dancers. Their harmonies are also so good and not to hear new songs they make is really sad but at the same time they've been in the industry so long that they deserved to rest and have time with their fam. I hope you get to see their live performance and harmonies you'll see how even more talented they are.

They say that they sound like many Kpop groups, in fact they are the ones who opened the world space in this generation for groups with this configuration and musicality. Little mix has been in the industry since 2011. They are simply a global reference. Another interesting fact is that one of their strongest fan bases has always been Japan.

I'm from Brazil and Little Mix was part of my adolescence, it reminded me of my friends dancing to "Salute" at school, when I was 14 years old. Sometimes the cultural difference is shocking regarding songs, styles of music and lyrics of these songs because things in Korea are very different and more relaxed even when they are made to be more sexual while in other countries like Brazil, the United States and England people just sing what they want without caring if someone has a closed mind

2NE1 is their KPOP counterpart. Both, Little Mix and 2NE1 have a great stage presences! The Live Performances of that both girl group is on another level. They are Legendary Queens. Both of them also are one of the best selling Girl Group of all time. My fave GG's of all time! 🥺🖤💖

The thing is like most k-pop gg‘s studied, are study and will study Little Mix because they are the standard and like you have so many female idols talk about little mix and how they‘d do any of their songs for the monthly evaluation. And if you pass with a Little Mix Song, you have talent, cause Little Mix‘s songs are hard to sing and they have difficult choreographies.

Ik they dont really represent the whole koreans but I find its funny how they dont know other countries having similiar kind of artists. I mean at least they know about MJ right? them comparing little mix with kpop artist feels weird to me. I do love kpop so much, but they're more of a performance artist than a musical artist to me. In kpop, their music, choreo and visuals are made to fit the concept of the team, thats why kpop is so addictive, bcs its so effective and cohesive. But for most performers overseas, they usually a musicians first, their choreo and visual comes later and it is made to complete the music. As much as I love kpop, when it comes to musical skills little mix are much more skilled and they got a lot of power for their creativity. Thats why when the girl said that people need to be open minded, I was like...I think it needs to go both ways also, right? Btw, thank you for the video

I don’t think even a single kpop group can come close to the talent, vocal knowledge and range, live singing abilities even in many cases the dance too.. of Little Mix.
